And not a "peep" from Diane Marco - perhaps she is being censored?

My guess is that DM is trying to portray herself as a professional as she waits for the Town Clerk appointment to become a reality.  yuk, yuk!

Trying? If that means coming to this forum under a pseudonym, ok, I agree.

Look....my main issue is not with GP. My main concern however, is with REMS. Every time ya turn around, the townspeople are STILL bailing them out!

As far as GP, if he did something unethical, illegal, unprofessional or whatever....someone smarter than me will find it out. My issue is 'bailing out REMS' yet again!

Bumble, I don't get it! How was REMS bailed out!? Their former CEO screwed them BIG TIME! They owed the IRS a TON of money and rather than the IRS trying to work out an easy payment agreement so that REMS could continue to earn money in order to pay the IRS debt, the IRS investigator decided to be a jerk and not accept a deal. A deal that any normal citizen or company would have gotten!!!! Parisi and Tonko were able to work out a deal. You call this a bailout...I call this a smart business deal. Why? well if the IRS continued with their absurd demands it would likely have driven REMS out of business--at which point the IRS wouldn't have gotten paid. This way, the IRS gets its money. I'd say that's the opposite of a bailout, but what do I know. You are obviously the all knowing, all powerful alpha and the omega. Seriously you need to get a life, let go, have a beer, and RELAX!!! I don't get it. You are upset because they were able to work out an agreement so they could actually afford to pay their bills! Really? This workout was done AFTER the agreement with the town, anyway. This bashing REMS over every little thing is so friggin old. You're against REMS. Fine. We get it. But even you have to see this is a good thing. Or maybe you are too dense to realize it, eh?

Evil Empire? Really? Going to compare the previous administration to the Soviet Union? That seems like a bit of a stretch... I'd say it's the dems that are evil. You had the pedophile/crook Constintino and now you have Eunice The Terrible working in the clerk's office. I hear she lost her notary license for notarizing documents for dead people and apparently there are complaints against her from her staffers. But keep throwing dirt at the Tomassone administration, if that's what you have to do to divert attention from your inadequacies....

interesting.......call it conquered and it ceases to be an 'EQUALLY SERVING GOVERNMENT'------gumba gangstas.....retire to Florida already and give it up........Tony Soprano is probably there along with Arlo Guthrie and the rest of the gang......beat it......

The agreement with the town occurred BEFORE GP was retained. He did NOT do this for free. He was hired to deal with the IRS issue. Only someone with a political gripe would be dense enough to not understand this. Leave the Assembly compound and get some fresh air Bumble. You are out of your mind! There is no conflict of interest. There is nothing nefarious!

And Bumble, in order to be a "real business" one must have a CPA AND attorney on staff!? REALLLLY!? Seems to me plenty of "real businesses" have professionals on retainer, rather than as employees. Others just hire an attorney when they need one. I'm not sure what kind of business you run that you need an attorney on staff Bumble....Although, I'd imagine that based on how dense you are it'd be cheaper for you to have an attorney on staff than to pay an hourly fee for an attorney to explain the simplest concepts to you. That, or maybe you ARE an ATTORNEY and are just doing advertising that all businesses should have an attorney on staff....All you attorneys are the same, John!

You should know, GP!!

No GB - they should hire Andy Brick.  After all, there is NEVER a conflict of interest there.  Even though he's represented:

The Town
The "Transition Team"
Sync Realty, who is now suing the town (and consequently the members of the "transition team")
God knows who else...

Del Gallo should be outright speaking against Brick for this - yet nothing gets done.  And not a "peep" from Diane Marco - perhaps she is being censored?

HaHaHaHaHaHa.... You're critical of Brick and have no issue with GP and his conflicts of interest representing both Rems/Golub/ and the taxpayers all at once! And getting paid by all of them at the same time! HaHaHaHaHa.....
hyprocritical huh?

Gerard abstained, thereby clarifying and appropriately separating himself from his conflict of interest.  He did the RIGHT thing.

Also, in my opinion, the town board is at fault for the Brick conflict of interest issue.  I believe I heard during the board meeting that they have to acknowledge and waive the conflict.  They didn't do that.
