Don't forget that the day before this, there's going to be a public hearing about all the new apartments on the Triangle.  We should really reach out to the people who border that this weekend.

Am I missing something here?  The town board agenda meeting is scheduled, per the calender for 3/8/10 which is when they then post the draft agenda. Then the meeting on the calender says the 10th???  How do they have an agenda two days before the agenda meeting?  Was the dated moved up? Are agenda meeting public of not, if they are, hope they posted this change somewhere.

I'm sure this is a rhetorical question.  The Town Board members really have no say in what is discussed; the agenda items are decided by the powers that be and the TB members simply attend and vote as they are told.

Agenda meetings are open to the public. I don't believe there is an oppurtunity for the residents to speak at these meetings.

Wouldn't matter anyway, the current administration has its own "agenda" and the residents' input has been totally disregarded.

When is there a public hearing? In front of the TB, planning or zoning board?

And as for this agenda, CDTA wants to stop service on Hamburg St, oh I am sure the business owners there will love that, as they are trying to rebuild the street.

Might be a stupid question, but who might that be?

Overall a positive meeting - depending on your seat
from my seat

Clark Kent was there!

CDTA presentation on Bus routes

public hearing on Golub zoning change

Bobby Iovinella wins zoning change

sewer corporation moves forward to deal with the illegal sewer situation at mallozzi's

mallozzi's and Pigliavento have 6 months to reach an agreememt on sewer rates for the communities

new police cars

CDTA  is urged to keep hamburg st bus service

on speakers and my opnion

Mr. Malizenski(sp) - did not spew the usual numbers and finally made sense

Bobby Iovinella - claims PILOT behind Lawyer defending zoning change
I have to support Bobby on Zoning change as spot zoning is allowed in the comp plan

Bob Godlewski took over the reins at the meeting and thank god and we still got out late

Diane Marco - made a great case for business developement - i have to agree with her

way to much "huffing" in the audience  - this needs to stop, we are all entitled to our 4min
without distraction

Andy Brick finally made sense for once

Niki D wanted to into executive session over the state comptrollers report

and does Mike Godlewski have a girfriend???that woman next to him was UP HIS A$$
how would she fit in his Mini Cooper  - the front would be fine but they would have trouble in the back seat.

See that's what happens when you take money from the government. You can pressure and dictate to a private entity, such as CDTA, to make them do what you want them to do. Only 20% of their revenue comes from patrons. The rest is government funded.

BOTTOM LINE....CDTA does not have the money and needs to make cuts where THEY feel it is necessary! If 'bus transportation' was such a lucrative business, one would think that there would be private busing companies trying to take over. I though Bob no change, went way over the line! He shifted into over drive on that one! IMHO

And so after 20+ years of Mallozzi getting a free ride without paying for sewers, who brought it up? Everyone in town knew it for years.
