If the country goes into economic collapse where will the money come from to pay the public employees and legislatures in local/state/federal health-care and pension plans. The policy that is being implemented by our government right now could kill the golden goose that is entitlements that have been created in the name of doing good.
If Democrat Congressman Scott Murphy voted against the initial legislation because he was representing the views of his constituents, then he should again vote no. He should also release a statement immediately that he is against the use of reconciliation to pass the controversial health care legislation.
My prediction is that Murphy will switch his vote in favor of passage because the vote margin will be very small. If he does so, he will lose his reelection bid in November to Patrick Ziegler, Republican and Tea Party organizer who announced his candidacy yesterday. http://www.ziegler2010.com
Murphy won't say what he will do yet, but he will probably wait and see if Nancy has enough yes votes, and if she does, Nancy will let him vote no again. The only way I will believe he is sincere is if he is the deciding NO! vote (like Scott BROWN was for the Senate).
IF Scott Murphy IS the deciding NO vote, and Pelosicare is defeated, he will probably even get MY vote.
It will depend on what obama/barbie botox/reid will 'bribe' him with. But don't kid yourselves.....I don't believe that some, if not most of these dems are going to put their corrupt, political necks on the line just to save face for obama. It will clearly all boil down to 'what it is in it for them.'

SARATOGA SPRINGS -- U.S. Rep. Scott Murphy, D-Glens Falls, said Monday he is facing pressure from all directions on health care reform but still hasn't decided how he will vote.
Observers and key supporters have called the health care vote, scheduled for Thursday, a once-in-a-lifetime decision. They said Murphy will disappoint a portion of his constituency no matter what he chooses.
"This week's showdown on health care could be one of the most important votes a member of Congress makes in their entire career," said Dan Cantor, executive director of the Working Families Party.
Asked if he is being pushed by Democratic leaders to vote yes, Murphy said he is "hearing from everyone" on the issue.
