Yesterday was a pretty big day for Rotterdam. It looks like we finally have a solution to the disaster that is Capitol Plaza! Why wasn't George Amedore at the ribbon cutting? I guess we see how important economic development in his home town is to him...

I don't think anyone knew about it. Were the IDA members even told before hand? Perhaps someone could verify that. Does anyone know when the town board was informed?

How should I know when they were invited? Parisi managed to make it and I'd imagine his schedule would be slightly more booked than George's...

Then call GP and ask him who got what calls and when and from who! Apparently you are a GP supporter. And if you are representing him, I would stop. Cause you are just sinking him even further!!!

Who cares if Angelo called Parisi to let him know if the ribbon cutting was taking place?  Obviously, none of us know that took place, and you just said it in jest.  However, is there now a problem with a Dem calling a Rep on an exciting opportunity for his constituents?

We all know Amedore went to Jimmy Swaggart Bible College, but does everyone know what Swaggart stands for?

He says if a homosexual ever looked at him he'd kill the homosexual and tell god the person died. Wow that's really Christian...

http://religiousfreaks.com/?p=30

"In 1983 John Camp, a reporter for Baton Rouge's WBRZ-TV, unearthed allegations that money collected for a children's aid fund was instead being used on buildings and furnishings for the ministry. (The allocation procedure was changed the following year.) There were also charges that Swaggart's brother-in-law was taking kickbacks from a Dallas printer who had been printing Swaggart's monthly magazine, The Evangelist. Treated as an internal church matter, the allegations were hushed up."  http://www.people.com/people/archive/article/0,,20098413,00.html
I hope George didn't learn these lessons at "bible school."

And people say prison is school for criminals? Apparently so is bible school!

there was nothing christain about Amedore's actions against his own party...his real intentions were outlined and highlighted this past year. I am not surprised to hear about these other little tidbits

George was a teenager in 1983, what the hell does have to do with anything?  You guys are really grasping at straws here.

You're getting destroyed on the issues, I guess it's time for the personal attacks on character.  You may want to reconsider going down this road.  When it gets in the gutter like this, things get said that could destroy families.
