Well I'm sure Peter knows this because he and Amedore do a lot of back door deals together so he's up to date on stuff, but it clearly shows OHIO on the disclosure
Choices for the Assembly Published: 12:00 a.m., Thursday, October 28, 2010
105th District:
George Amedore
Elected in 2007, Mr. Amedore, of Rotterdam, is relatively new to the Assembly, and fully understands public disgust with late state budgets, high property taxes, the Senate coup and one government scandal after another.
As a Republican, he's well aware of the importance of working effectively with the Democratic majority. He's sensibly made priorities of two of the most urgent challenges for the Legislature -- economic development and ethics reform.
Mr. Amedore understands the need for much greater transparency, particularly when it comes to legislators' outside financial interests. In a Times Union survey earlier this year, he went well beyond the rather cursory requirements of what the Legislative Ethics Commission asks.
Mr. Amedore wants to rein in Medicare costs by reducing spending by counties, and has been an enthusiastic supporter of consolidation of government services.
His opponent, Angelo Santabarbara, is a promising challenger and able member of the Schenectady County Legislature. He makes valid points about the need to control property taxes yet rebuild the cities of upstate New York.
Yet he lacks Mr. Amedore's deeper understanding of the issues and overall record. Our endorsement goes to Mr. Amedore.

Even the DEM TU has endorsed George Amedore! The same paper that endorsed Cuomo, Breslin and every other DEM running this year.
Another new low for the pathetic ANG campaign. The DEMS are abandoning him in droves. What a brilliant move lining up with SS Savage. Now the both of them are kaput. George Amedore by 18 points.

I guess he still hasnt learned from being found guilty of UNFAIR CAMPAIGNING!! I heard the same thing, today at lunch time, heard several talking about it... Santabarbara 2010~
I want to thank Angelo Santabarbara for staying after the debate last night and talking with the community about our concerns and issues... When Amedore was done speaking, He just left and didnt bother staying to talk to any of us!! But from what Ive heard from other people this is nothng new, guess he never sticks around to hear what the people have to say.. But I also guess thats why all his signs were still all sitting there at the end, while Angelo's there were none left!!
People will speak on Nov 2nd!! Santabarbara for Assembly.. Is the only way to go
Today we offer our endorsements in several races in Tuesday's elections: state Assembly, state Senate and the 21st Congressional District. Like many New York residents, our frustration is growing as our taxes continue to rise while business growth sputters. We don't advise voters to get rid of all incumbents, but we are looking for change where there is a viable candidate. 105th Assembly District In the race for the New York State Assembly's 105th District, Republican incumbent George Amedore is being challenged by Democrat Angelo Santabarbara. It's been a sloppy race that is more about allegations than issues. Santabarbara contends that Amedore used his political and personal clout to intimidate Santabarbara's employers, jeopardizing his job. After Amedore denied the allegations, Santabarbara secretly recorded a conversation between them to prove the assemblyman's guilt. Meanwhile, Amedore filed a lawsuit to have his opponent's nominating petitions declared invalid, labeling him as a cheater. After the Supreme Court ruled the petitions were legitimate, Amedore referred to Santabarbara in a newspaper story as a "lawbreaker," which led to a ruling by The Fair Campaign Practices for the Capital Region stating Amedore violated an ethics principle. Why was Amedore so focused on Santabarbara's campaign? Perhaps it's because he has accomplished so little during the past two years in the Assembly. Yes, he attends a lot of events in Montgomery County. We gave him credit during the previous campaign for spending plenty of time in our neck of the woods. However, to effectively represent his district, he needs to do more than attend chicken dinners. When asked to give us an example of some local legislation that he has sponsored, he didn't. Or couldn't. We also suggested two years ago in our endorsement that Amedore stop referring to himself foremost as a builder rather than an assemblyman. Well, that hasn't changed a bit. In fact, during these difficult economic times, it's apparent he's hardly the common guy he purports to be. When describing how the recession has affected his personal business, he said it forced them to cut back on the trade shows they can attend. When so many employers are being forced to enact layoffs to survive, equating such measures to trade shows is pathetic. After a full term in office, we have no confidence Amedore can accomplish much in the Assembly. We're not sure Santabarbara would fare much better. He is currently serving his first term as a member of the Schenectady County Legislature, which is the highlight of his personal experience. Of course, Amedore had no prior political experience before being elected to the Assembly. Santabarbara says if elected he would focus on improving employment rates and warming the business climate in New York state -- insurmountable tasks for an assemblyman. Meanwhile, Amedore says he's still hoping to get Thruway tolls removed from here to Albany, a pledge he's made in the past. Of course, as he said, "Rome wasn't built in a day." This is the third election for the 105th since former Assemblyman Paul Tonko resigned, and we've yet to have a single candidate from Montgomery County.
And that would be the reason their circulation is falling faster than the Daily Rag. Tho, they do get credit for having an OPEN, FREE online newspaper edition. The Rag thinks their content is actually worth something - the Recorder KNOWS theirs isn't.
the recorder is the only one who has called this election right
