Satanbarbera loses by 10 points.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Amedore, Santabarbara square off for Assembly seat
By Paul Nelson Staff Writer
Published: 12:00 a.m., Friday, October 15, 2010

GOP Assemblyman George Amedore Jr. touts himself as a businessman who heeded the call for fresh blood to get involved in politics, while his Democratic opponent Angelo Santabarbara insists the incumbent has failed residents of the 105th District during his tenure in Albany.

The two candidates contend that finding ways to ease commercial and property taxes, stimulate job growth, and making New York more business-friendly are among the top campaign issues that resonate with the voters.

But Santabarbara, who is an engineer, insists that Amedore, a luxury homebuilder, is "out of touch with the working families" struggling with property taxes during a down economy.

Citing his hard-working Italian immigrant parents, Santabarbara contends he can better relate to the constituents whose salary have remained steady or even gone down during tough economic times.

The 41-year-old Amedore countered that his decades of as a homebuilder, combined with his three years in the Assembly, along with his honesty and transparency make him more battle-tested and qualified for the job. Additionally, he pointed to several pieces of legislation related to economic development and public health that he has co-sponsored with Democrats for the benefit residents in the district, which includes all of Montgomery County and parts of Schenectady County.

"We have to conduct business different from the old status quo," said Amedore, a married father of three who is seeking his second full 2-year term.

He said the ways to combat the lack of jobs, commercial and property taxes, and the exorbitant cost of living and running a business in New York is to create sound public policy, control the rate of growth on property taxes through tax cap and eliminating unfunded mandates on school and municipalities. He also favors consolidation....................>>>>...................>>>>...................http://www.timesunion.com/defa.....mbly-seat-707306.php

I couldnt agree more that Amedore is VERY OUT OF TOUCH with us the hard working families who continue to struggle with just trying to survive. It shocks me that he makes 500K from Amedore homes, 80K from Assembly and then he took an additional 9500 from Assembly too?? Seriously these are the
problems that we want to GO from Albany. He has spent hard earned tax payer dollars on mailers (over 63K).. Seriously Amedore, you are so far out of touch with us it isnt funny!! We all see through your facade, and last night at the forum you proved that to me..

Seriously, you're bashing a guy cause he has a successful business building homes? That's the best you can do?

I mean, it's not as prestigious as say a pizza place, oh wait, that burned down. Wonder how much they got from Insurance?  Maybe they should be lighting a candle at their church instead of the back room.

Stratton, Savage, Martin, Macejka, Kirvin all had fathers in politics if you are asking.

Lets get this cleared up, Im not liking this man, because of the WASTEFEUL spending he is doing while in office.. If someone has a succesuccessful business, in these dier times for US the taxpayers, he shouldnt be taking an extra 9500.. Just making a point..
I mean he is suppose to be so CONCERNED for us!! But what he has done shows the total opposite..
