Rotterdam town supervisor Frank Del Gallo was locked up at Katie O'Brien's on Eire Boulevard in Schenectady to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association on Feb. 18.
At the 3 p.m. event, Del Gallo was arrested and held alongside Sons of Italy President Louis Fazzone to help raise money for Muscular Dystrophy. "Bail" was set for the town supervisor at $2400, but the drive has already raised $2800, according to Lisa Dufek, who has helped Del Gallo in raising the funds for the MDA.
"Mr. Del Gallo is well liked in the community and whenever he's involved in people want to be a part of," said Dufek. "When Frank is spearheading something, people want to help." Dufek has been a home health aid for over 16 years and as a caretaker has taken a special interest in the event. According to Dufek, Del Gallo has already raised the most money out of those involved in the event that was staged at the pub.
Del Gallo was arrested by members of the Schenectady Volunteer Fire Department, who helped MDA with the event. Del Gallo was brought down to the pub with other local participants, including Fazzone, Tony Tote and Christine Mallozzi...............>>>>...............>>>>>..............http://www.spotlightnews.com/news/view_news.php?news_id=1266528575
