its not the Koolaid
Its is the infrastructure

look how they treat the water

lets put a sewer plant up stream of the water supply
lets build ontop of the water supply

lets add more stuff before we strenghten, fix or repair what we have

or maybe it is the leftovers of the old GE chemical dump at the end of old river road that can be seen on Mr. Shaffer's papers on file in the schectady county library - right on top of the water supply

or maybe that is how you make Koolaid!

Because they took to task an employee that was knowingly screwing up.  The whole town knows that EE has been screwing up, but yet our TB has been astoundingly quiet on the issue.

Major law?????!!!! Are you kidding?????!!!
Wow, this is not a crime, folks --- her notary may only be suspended or revoked ---- something she's happy to part with! Again ---- a SERVICE with no personal benefit to her!!!

I repeat ---- GET A LIFE!!

The simplest definition of crime is: a felony or misdemeanor. Under NYS law, what Eunice did is a misdemeanor...a crime. The Town
Board and others who choose to ignore this fact are promoting selective enforcement of the law they are sworn to uphold, IMO.

Stockbridge was immediately placed on paid administrative leave from his job, which pays $104,770 a year.

OH Yah ---- PLEASE DO put EE on "paid administrtive leave" ---- and nearly triple her salary to boot!   I would wholeheartedly support that!!

BTW and FYI --- I am a staunch, Conservative Republican ---- so my position is NOT political partisanship ---- (doubting anyone else can claim that) but FAIRNESS and APPROPRIATENESS.
(I'm ashamed to be on the same political side, ... though obviously for different motives.)

You don't take a loyal, selfless, 40+ year servant of the Town and hang her out to dry for helping residents ---- maintaining the SPIRIT of the law ---- which is to verify signature and ownership of their own property. It's just too bad she was so willing to put herself at such personal risk to help others get what they deserved (STAR program benefits).
Did she make a mistake --- obviously ---- is she a criminal? NO WAY!!!

Take away her Notary "privileges" .... go ahead, AFTER she has answered to the State Board ---- NOT to yahoos like you all! You sharks just want to draw blood ---you're not interested in justice.

How sad. I guess it is true "No good deed goes unpunished."

The seminar bloggers are BACK!

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

THIS is where the government and our elected officials in their stuffy parties get US to argue......

A. government is law and NOT selfless(nor is anyone in the employ of said government)NO ONE IS MORE EQUAL THAN ANOTHER
B. STAR is just a bandaid for our wounds inflicted by our own blind partisanship
C. as for 'spirit' of law----move to a commune(ist)

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
