felipe the problem is that all those guys still play a big decision making part of who is going to be endorsed!! they need to find someone with no baggage, no history of running as a WFP, no business connection that can benefit directly from town board influence, no history with RPD. Since it looks like Brian Mc is takingthe lead with the NNTP - do we really want to see a three person race again I want a grocery bagger from Hannaford that can balance his checkbook is a registered BLANK!, can design a webpage, and maybe even help out with road work. is that asking to much |

Little Sal are you related to Big Sal? LOL! Brian a great guy and this signals the end the NNTP. Nothing more. As Puddy stated "fading like a summer tan". |

Of course I think--Republicans are switching to Dems en masse! Dagostino, Vellano, Santabarbara--why not McGarry? The Dems gave him a seat at the table and he likes them. |

He switches to Repub just to switch to a Democrat...... BumbleBee i would rank that at about number 5 Salami - Not related to Sal - stalked this board for almost two years - had enough, the moniker is in honor of that nut. dont know brian persoanlly - so cant comment - it seems like a well positioned move. he got creamed in cons. primary - ahhhemmm cough cough ahemmm UNION VOTE ahemmm cough coughc cooouugghhh So lets see how he does in a REP primary. that is what this town needs anyway - if the reps throw up a lame duck then they need to be challenged. Dont recall how bad was stan the man defeated in repub primary by the NNTP guy? |

I think the NNTP should always be a part of the political process. There should always be that 'option' for the independents (blanks) like myself. Calling it the NNTP isn't key here. We just need another option other than the 2 major parties. Anyway..........this has clearly become the year of the 'new' 'independents'. That's the way the rest of the nation is going. Let's see if this county can get up to speed. The dems and all incumbents are on the endangered species list! |

Little Sal--NOBODY thought you were the GREAT Salami--just wondered if you were related to the more middle of the road SAL who brightened everyone's day early on in lst year's campaign. A dem for sure. No one can rival the GREAT SALAMI.
Too bad you don't think--the very famous Holly Vellano continues to hop from party to party. Let's see BM was a Con who became a NNTP and now became a REP! OK I got that at about three parties in less than nine months. We would be pleased to have him as a Dem. And he comes from a long line of Dems. If you people are putting your money on the REP party coming back too quickly--I wouldn't. Dems seem to be very strong in Schenectady County. |

Yes everybody does like Brian. Not insulting him. And you shouldn't insult the others. The truth is those folks were Reps and became Dems. And btw EVERYBODY loved Angelo as well.
Yes he is electable NOW! Even I told him the NNTP business was a losing road. He is a great guy. Remember when he wouldn't go to the debate because of Parisi's mindless comments? He has great humanity and dignity. Can't wait until he becomes a Dem. |

Turncoats loose my vote! If ang has his sites set on higher offices, he is going to be in for a hell a race in 2011. Would any you want to be a DEM candidate next year, Honestly - Look as Mass. election.
The Repubs are positioned to take back seats across the country (except in schdy of course). If the repubs embrace the blanks/ real independents/ tea party patriots - SEE YA DEMS!!!!!
The Dems only recieved little over what 40% of the vote in town? They havent come out of the gate this year very strong at all. One term and done!!

LS I can tell by your political clarity you're not that old idiot. ANG is in for a big surprise this year not in 2011. George will mop the floor him if he has the gall to run for Assembly. BTW, just heard a wonderful rumor about George Amedore. He finally got a wake up about REP "leadership". |

Why, did Peter Guidarelli splash some coffee in his face when his feet were up while he was napping at his desk? I can't imagine him catching onto anything otherwise! |

Salami! I think Ang has had Tonko and Schumer whispering sweet nothings into his ear about senate, house, state offices and his political future. I admire Ang but he sold his soul to the DEVIL with the switch to Dem. Expect more regulations more nonsense laws. DEMS = more government : Just wait till they go after all the diners and independent restuarants and make them put calorie information on there menus!!!!!!!!! |
