Clubhouse - because you can sum up this administration in the month it has been there right? Gimme a break! Welcome to the WE WANT IT NOW! generation.
When these new TB members decided to run for office, they should have educated themselves on the issues instead of waiting to get up to speed. I've attended more TB meetings in the past several years that I care to think about and never saw FDG, MM or ND at any until election time!
Maybe if they hadn't fired all the good help, and replaced them with people who have no idea what they're doing, this would never be an issue. I'm sure Lynn Fiorillo would be aware that such a violation of law is not forgiveable. I'm sure Kim Bruuns wouldn't let calls go unanswered and messages go unreturned.
Good thing del Gallo's $52K confidential secretary possesses skills known to none other than her. Or else things might not be going so smoothly.
The law will be enforced when Mr. Parissi can gather himself and use his personal time to bring forth a hearing. Unless of course, he's allowing the town a little leeway in fixing the issue before they have to pay legal fees for a no-brainer issue!
Quoted from clubhouse: Don't worry, within two years there will be all new players...
The Town Board seats are 4 year terms, aren't they? If I am correct, we will still have Godlewski, Martin, and DiLeva. Only the Supervisor position is a 2-year term (if he serves it out).
Supervisor term is 2 years and DiLeva has a 2 year term. Last time Godlewski served on the Board, he left before his term was up so maybe that will happen again!
"All new players in 2 years"? What are you talking about?
The only seats up for 2 years are Mr. Parissi{sic} this year and the Supervisor in 2011.
Both FDG and DiLeva's seat will be up in 2011 (she is finishing out the seat that Silva and Marchinkowski had). These two seats, along with Parisi's, will total 3 new members on the board within two years!
