Brad has as good a chance of winning the congressional seat as jimmy t did. Although Brad, like the rest of his NNTP ilk, don't care about winning. They just care about tanking republicans. So maybe Brad will run to tank tedisco (or whoever runs) so Murphy can skate to another victory. Smart Brad, real smart!

But back on topic, does no one really have an issue with the fact that the guy who ran for office as a devout religious conservative is in favor of a group that is in favor of expanding abortion?

Folks,

Deb Ritano (a.k.a., alleycat) should indeed lead the group.  She was kicked off the board once.  It won't be long before
she is banned again.

alleycat, I will miss YOU the most.  LOL

And, greenlantern, your days in politics are over.  You can vent all that you wish.  The public has your number.
BTW, forget the judgeship.  You will never be awarded the endorsement and will lose big in a general election.

You have alienated and lost the support of the Conservative Party, the No New Tax Party, the State Republican committee,
the local party membership and the people.

I encourage all who want a return of responsible and ethical government that is accountable to the public to turn away
the retreads in the local Republican party.  There is a new day on the horizon.  And dawn was the last election.

Good luck my friends in freeing yourselves from the shackles of those who have taken advantage of the system.  You deserve
better.  I believe that you will fight to ensure that you receive it.

No no no Brad.  Not Deb--once again you're wrong.  Shame on you.  You won't miss me that much.  In fact you have never ever seen ME.  But this I do know, SHE attended your fundraiser and pitched your signs on her property both at her home and her business.  Nice thanks from you Brad.  If you knew her at all, you would know she hasn't been on the board posting because her FAMILY has not allowed it because she has had heart trouble and the commotion here added to the stress.  So I guess you also dump the friends KR garnered for you since you don't need them anymore.  Good luck in Saratoga Brad you will need it.  A different politic happens there.  If you couldn't play in this pen, you will never make it there.

Yeah, also nice threat, Brad...you must be pretty "in" with the moderator of this board.  Then again, I don't think Joann would stoop so low as to kick someone from the board because they are discussing a politician like yourself out in the open.

Not buying it, alleycat.

Your statements have clearly identified you.  And, if you are experiencing health problems, I do, sincerely hope that you regain your
health.  Despite our disagreement on this forum, there are no ill wishes.

And, TBV thanks for your comments.  You are clearly part of the Buchanan, Parisi, Rhinesmith crew.  You will go far in politics.

This is getting really boring.  Can any of you discuss issues or is that above your IQ level?  The personal attacks
are really immature and nonproductive.

It is no wonder that our town is in such a sad state of affairs and is becoming a joke in conversations across the
Capital District.

BL it is immaterial if you believe it or not.  It is the fact.  If it were Deb, you have again just shown how terribly shallow you are.  Because why would you out her?  That is just plain stupid.  Again I say to you if this is how you treat the people who SUPPORTED you how badly would you treat others who don't see your way?  And how generous of Deb to support you in such a big way to only be treated like that.  Whether you "buy it or not" there are other people in the world who think like Deb or at least close to Deb.  And btw, you're a bit pompous.  As a young voter, I think your arrogance $ucks--

FOF--right back to the subject.  The town's politics continue to be laughable.  I am hoping the new administration can get a handle on it--but so far that is not the case.

As for Amedore-I believe he is finished.  His opinion on abortion is insignificant.  The fact that he supported the Democrats in Rotterdam is more of a question.

AGAIN............
Anyone in government office can have their own religious convictions....such as abortion rights. But as long as you are in a government job, you are there to serve the people according to the law....ALL of them.

I am 'personally' against abortion...but it IS legal according to the united states of america. Does that mean that if I were a heart surgeon, I wouldn't do open heart surgery in a hospital, such as albany med, cause they perform abortions? Get real here!

bumble, Amedore doesn't work for the government, carrying out laws. Amedore is paid, by us, to form the laws. He is not paid to serve us according to the law. He is paid by us to make the law what WE WANT the law to be. This is the difference between Amedore and your asinine example of the heart surgeon. The surgeon isn't paid by the hospital to MAKE policy. George is! George told us his views were one thing and seems to be acting in a different way. He owes us an explanation. Though abortion may be insignificant in practical terms, the significant thing is that he told us his views were one thing and seems to be acting opposite those views. WHAT ELSE IS HE LYING ABOUT!? WHAT OTHER VIEWS DID HE STAND BEHIND IN ORDER TO GET THE VOTES THAT HE IS ALSO IGNORING!? That is the issue with this.
