SCHENECTADY -- City schools attorney Shari Greenleaf, charged with a misdemeanor, admitted instead to a lesser traffic infraction in City Court this morning after she paid a prior ticket that led to her arrest on Jan. 23. Greenleaf pleaded guilty to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and paid a $280 fine, said her attorney, Sven Paul. Greenleaf declined to comment after her court appearance. Last month she was arrested by Schenectady police after she crashed into a car on her street and police found she had not responded to an earlier stop-sign violation in Niskayuna, which had resulted in her license being suspended. She also had an expired registration. Read more: http://www.timesunion.com/AspStories/story.asp?storyID=903734#ixzz0gNSvHHKn |

I hope he's outta here too. But clearly....PA didn't do their homework. Those parents should be pissed!
But who will take ely's place? Probably just another...as senders would say....another gumba! |

PA did do their homework. Schenectady never does. Let's hope next time an actual search takes place. Not another as senders would say next gumba in line. |

The School superintendent racket is the same as any other but somehow like the witness protection program. They take bad ones from other places and give them shelter before or even after they get fired, jailed, or tarred and feathered. Once you ARE a super' you can always be one somewhere, no matter how incompetent they are. |

Any chance that our own Nicki DiLeva will apply for the Schenectady Schools Superintendent position when Ely rides off into the sunset (or is chased out of town)? |
