I painfully watched the town board meeting on channed 16 from 1/13. It was even more of a circus the 2nd time around!  The entire board was pathetic at best. And again....the dem party should be ABSOLUTELY ashamed of themselves for putting fdg in that painfully, agonizing, embarrassing position!!!!!

They are all pathetically unqualified and every resident better start paying attention and attend these meetings. Cause this group don't have a clue!

I also watched the replay of the meeting today and was disappointed that
FDG didn't have any comments or response when the residents expressed their opposition to the hiring of a non-resident for the Confidential Secretary position.  The least he could have done was acknowledge their comments.   But not a word from him!  Might as well have a robot running the meeting.

Avon, I believe the word you are looking for is puppet, not robot.

I guess I forgot to include the cons. They too should be ashamed of themselves for endorsing fdg into a very very embarrassing position. This town board clearly discredits the dem and rep party. IMHO

Although.......I'm sure no one held a gun to his head.

He is being told not to speak at the public meetings or answer any questions from the public.  So much for open
government.  Barnum and Bailey would be proud of this circus act.

No bigger circus than the one that just left town.  Yeah I would like to know who would tell FDG he can't speak and answer questions.  You people are crazy.  He'll speak when he needs to.

Yes, he will speak in his sleep, during one of his many naps.  The new town attorney(s) and Mr. Godlewski are telling
FDG not to answer any questions from the public.

He hasn't spoken since he said "I accept your nomination".  Not in a debate, not questions from the public - hell, I can't even get the man on the phone - I just get the secretary (who was currently very helpful and knowledgeable). I hope he runs his business better than he's running the town so far.

I guess we all know how well he runs his business.  That's why the folks voted for him.  As for trying to get him on the phone, sorry MT I have called him three times and he has come to the phone or called me back. Not only does he respond to his calls, he does it promptly.  Fledgling business owners could learn a lot from FDG.  I know someone who is STILL waiting for ST to return their phone call from the fall.

Obviously you're not a Gazette reporter.  Ever article written that has to do with FDG end with " messages were left at Mr. DelGallo business for comment, and the calls were not returned".

MT--Not sure what the "correct" political persuasion is that you speak of.  But I do try to be politically correct.  If you are saying he calls me back because I am a Conservative, I am not.

B Gage--LOL  But don't be so harsh with my friend MT.  If his calls are genuine and he needs a return call than FDG needs to respond to it.  It is highly infuriating when a civil servant DOES NOT respond to calls from their government.
