What are the opinions, stories and such (good and bad) of the housing market here in Rotterdam? Any stories to
share? I am a local resident and I have been quite happy here. There are several nice neighborhoods to raise a family, easy access to
major roadways and the taxes still seem reasonable comparatively. As prices go, I feel you get a good amount of home, and land for
the money. One story to share...when my wife and I were looking for a home back in 2006, we found a home we wanted to move
forward on. The inspection turned up a chimney that was detaching and sinking from the home. Home inspections are worth every
penny; saved us 23k in repairs and a huge headache. It still amazes me how many people feel they don't need one or feel their buddy can do it for them. Anyway, I look forward to reading some thoughts and stories.
