I'm still waiting for the big "bomb" to drop on Surprise...after all, he's so terribly negligent in his job duties, right?  Gimme a break...

You are absolutely correct TBV. Mr Surprise and his staff should feel very comfortable and at ease with the new admin.  Get real cozy, touchy, feely, warm and fuzzy.

(Remember TBV Revenge is better served cold!)  So I'm told.

Yeah, just ask no-change Godlewski...he cares more about revenge than anything else...you too, Diane!

Besides, what does this have to do with revenge?  Does ANYONE elected in this town care about ANYTHING besides revenge?  I doubt it.  And Peeper, care to enlighten us as to which staff members are negligent in their job duties?

Everyone knows Peeper's identity...I am surprised and disappointed that a Town employee and party loyal would make such comments on this forum!    Recent events really display a lack of professionalism on the part of this new adminstration.

I am not sure that Mr. Surprise can be fired.  I don't know what his contract is.  Above said it was a five year contract.  A bit excessive by any standards.  I also don't know how diligent in his duties he is or is not.  From reading a little FDG has made it fairly clear Mr. Surprise was someone he wanted to get rid of.  Not so sure he can.  I am also not sure how much he can effect what he does.  I guess we will have to wait and see.

I guess you are going to have to spell this one out for me.  I read the article about the south mall but I am still confused as to what it is you are trying to point out.

Only a few convicted of what?  some kind of fraud?  What few?

Well, I'd have to think it's concerning any contractors or suppliers who were involved with the project.  Unknown / Unverified if anyone local was involved, but there are rumors.

Peeper you may know the answer to this--I have been unable to reach my source.  The new secretary, who I hold in VERY high regard, recently was able to facilitate a grant for approximately $50,000 as I was told at the Dem. celebration on Jan. 28.  I was told she already made back her salary.  I am not surprised because she is probably the smartest and most connected person in Town Hall and out.  Her reputation is excellent.  Can you shed any light on this info.

Forget about it and don't waste your time....there is no paper trail and a lot of those people are dead.

alley - you dont get it
getting a grant from state money doest not make our state more appealing to companies or people outside our state as it increases overall taxes

bringing in a new business with no givebacks - that is a payback!

FDG - is untouchable on the south mall subject - thus he is the duck

AFLAC!

until someone has the proof

I can't believe this is still an issue. WAY overpriced secretary.  A chimp could do that job.

on that chimp - how about one that can type

seems to me that in jan of 2011 a resolution was passed by the board stating this individual would not receive "COMP Time"

i hear this "COMP Time" is why town hall is closing early

drip, drip, drip
