and on the Confidential Secretary - they must be pulling money from the weed control line of the budget - maybethe past admin didn't pull enough cash out - seems to be a lot left

Whew, I am also glad to see Mr Surprise staying although I don't believe he has a "signed" contract. I believe he has a term appointment and may be removed from office for just cause. Better yet, Mr Surprise staying on means another round of staff cuts in the Assessor's Office. Nice guy that Mr Surprise. He stays on but cuts loose town residents from their jobs. But I am glad he is there to face the heat of the new admin. Like a living hell. Scorch the earth Mr Surprise, just like you did in New Lebanon eh?

When FDG campaigned in our neighborhood, he promised that, if/when elected, he was going to "fire Surprise." He didn't mince any words, the promise was to fire him! And to think that the voters actually believed him!
Pretty sad that an appointment like Mr Surprise could wipe out an entire administration but he did. Wonder how he sleeps at night not knowing when the "grim reaper" will pay him a visit for his crimes against humanity eh?
I don't think Mr DelGallo's administration will rise or fall on the termination of Mr Surprise. If there aren't drastic changes in the overall approach to public service from the Rotterdam Assessor's Office I'd be shocked. Mr Surprise has a long history of abusive behavior and Mr Tomassone appointed him anyways. Why not just ask Mr Surprise for his resignation? He might "Surprise" us eh?

I guess your right TBV. Didn't Mr Tomassone promise Mr Macejka he would reappoint him then he dumped him for Mr Surprise? Maybe thats why Steve and his crew are out. When your right your right TBV. Off with Mr Surprises' head or else eh?
