SCHENECTADY - A woman passed out in a broom closet at the Bombers Burrito Bar on State Street and wasn't noticed until she woke up and triggered the security alarm after closing time early Thursday, the restaurant's owner said.
On his blog, fridaypuppy.com , Matt Baumgartner writes the woman, who he identified only as "some drunk girl named Erica," was inside a closet at the 447 State St. establishment when the place closed.
"We closed up the bar as usual, and at about 4:30 in the morning she wakes up and walks throughout the restaurant and bar, the stairwells and the kitchen, setting off the silent alarm system. And then I guess called her friend to come get her because she said she couldn't find her way out." he wrote.
Baumgartner wrote that police left him a voice mail saying they detained the woman and apparently the person who came to pick her up later that morning.........>>>>..........>>>>............http://www.timesunion.com/AspStories/story.asp?storyID=886530
This is supposedly a funny story. Keep serving until a girl passes out in a broom closet? More "renaissance" news-your Metrograft tax dollar at work! Btw, does nearby Clinton Square have an initial tenant?
Hey, the owner was quoted on wgy as saying that he would like to meet this girl cause she sounds fun.
