You have to have some pretty good skills to get to be a master plumber so Joe is only stupid in the eyes of the his opponents.

Having great skills to be called a Master Plumber including passing the test does not make you a smart and/or good politician.  What do they call the guy who had the lowest gpa at his medical school graduation---DOCTOR!  Get real.

I'm not a Joe supporter but he is smarter than you give him credit for but I agree that he's not a very good politician.

Never said that TBV.  I asked you sore losers to stop with the babble about Signore kid, assessment tomfoolery, unethical computer contracts  Blah Blah Blah.  Spilled milk my friends.  No use crying over it.  But knock yourselves out and cry and fight like the little girls you were before and after the coup d'tat.  I could care less

Do you really think we is all into the Reps???? talk about passe'......time marches on,,,,incumbants will be marched out,,,,,
as for the local yokals and Poedunk Rotterdam,,,,the picture is bigger.....

it's like beating a rug....the first few hits release the freshest dirt,,,,,keep beating the rug and the real old nasty stuff comes
out.......

as for spilled milk----it's subsidized by both parties

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

I can assure you TBV that Barrie is not crying over anything.  It would not be her personality to spend time on such a thing.  She turned down the opportunity to fill the DellaVilla seat because she lost in the race for Co. Leg. and faced the reality that the voters didn't support her as an elected official.  That's not spilled milk.  That's respect for the voice of the people. You obviously don't know her and you should refrain for making statements about people you don't know.  It brings to light your credibility on any another topic to make such statements. Barrie looks forward to working as committee person and this year's campaign.  Maybe we can win the gov seat!

As for being a fiscal conservative, she would have opposed any tax break for in-law apartments and stated that in a letter to the editor.  She doesn't favor giving tax breaks and give backs.  Too many in this country getting tax breaks for things they would do anyway like bring their elders to live with them.  Environmentalists can also be fiscally conservative.  Operative word being conservationists as well.

Oh please...she'll be the next Mertz, trying to "overthrow" the party.  What a loser.

That's very funny!  Now you really have lost your credibility!  Yes, she lost, big deal!  The sun will still come up tomorrow.

Lost my credibility with whom, Mary...you?! Oh please...

Tommasone felt like she would do a good job...she didn't, and won't in the future.  She is too much of a scattered, loose cannon.

I don't think MB was the right endorsement for the county leg. seat....BUT.....she has passion and conviction and appears that she would work very hard for her cause. Be it environmental issues or her rep. party. I have always perceived environmentalist as vehicles toraise taxes for some truths and some drummed up nonsense. Mostly nonsense....IMHO.

I do believe however that MB would be a positive driving force for the republican party. She is a fairly new face (and name) to the electorate that just may be part of the 'new change' the rep party needs. Teaparty-ish so to say.

Yep, that's right BT.  She is friends with the tea party movement because she believes they are trying to move us in the right direction.  She's not jumping to their ship, but hoping the Reps will be part of the armada of change and fiscal constraints.  If not, she may be helping throw some tea overboard in the port of the Mohawk.

I also agree she was not the right endorsement for the county leg. seat.

I heard mertz blew any chance of a merger when he assaulted chair buchananan at their meeting tonight.  I heard he threatened paris'si life last  year before he got throw out of office, so I'm not  surprised.  The guy has obviously lost his marbles.  Him, and his assembly cohorts need  to go...including the assemblymen.
