Copied from a post by Brad Littlefield in the Acorn-WFP forum.  Attorney General Cuomo has done much
to prosecute those who perpetrate financial fraud  He, has, however, remained on the sidelines on several contentious
issues particularly those that could adversely impact the standing and influence of some in his own Democrat party.

So, the question is ... Is the Attorney General a principled leader or a partisan politician?  Will he place the
interests of New Yorkers ahead of those of his party?

WHY ISN'T ANDREW CUOMO INVESTIGATING THE WORKING FAMILIES PARTY?

New Yorkers for Growth Says Newspaper Series Demands Investigation

New York, NY--New Yorkers for Growth, the leading fiscal reform group in New York State, today--for the third time in five months--called on New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo (D-WFP) to open up an investigation into the highly questionable inner workings of New York's Working Families Party and its myriad not-for-profit and for-profit entities.

NYFG has been calling for an investigation by the Attorney General's office since August, when an investigative series by City Hall Newspaper began revealing possible illegalities on multiple fronts by the WFP and its intertwined network of confederates.

Links to the City Hall reports can be accessed here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here.

"The New York State Attorney General has an obligation to investigate credible allegations of political, campaign finance, and not-for-profit fraud," said New Yorkers for Growth spokesman Bill O'Reilly. "We understand that the politics of this may be touchy--the Working Families Party backed Mr. Cuomo--but public duty has to supersede political considerations. New Yorkers for Growth is confident that the Attorney General will do the right thing."

Will AG Cuomo investigate issues that impact Schenectady County residents including the alleged illegal activities
of some who are employed by the Schenectady City School District?

What other issues should his office be investigating and, if appropriate, bringing about prosecution of those involved?

Will his involvement, or lack thereof, as AG in these issues affect his decision to run and/or his chances for being elected?

Name one politician/staffer/lobbyist AG Cuomo has prosecuted?

On Schenectady School District he has done nothing despite dozens of residents demanding immediate action. He prefers to go after Wall Street while ignoring more local misconduct.

I predict that cuomo will NOT do anything regarding the wfp. He, just like all good little politicians will not do anything to jeopardize their political career and those that help him achieve it. Oh we may be pleasantly surprised one day to hear him mention the possible corruption within the wfp and that he will be looking into it, but that will just be his lame attempt to tickle our ears.

Don't look to the dems to take on the wfp. We should be looking to and putting pressure on the reps to press on and get it in the forefront for all the people to see.........before the gov. election.

If course not. He looks forward to receiving the WFP line for Gov. It's all about how many lines-never the principles. Ask Steverino and Stan "THE" Man how important the WFP line is to final victory-lol-

I guess we need a pimp and prostitute to expose the corruption in the wfp the same way acorn was. That is unless  there are still some good journalists out there.
