I agree with both of these statements.

Majority voted for change!  A majority of Brian McGarry votes would have broke for FDG.  No doubt about it!  Same goes for the other NNTP town candidates.  O'Connor and MERTZ NNTP votes were never Signore or Suerada votes no matter what! IMHO  Not enough to change the outcome of the council races anyways!  Change is GOOD and the people of Rotterdam deserve better than what they have ENDURED for the last 4 years!

How refreshing....no more "quite frankly's," No more MERTZ, no more Joe gasbag Suhrada at any gov't level, no more J. Sigsnore smugness and no more "I never met a mirror I didn't like" PARISI!! Ahhhhh Many prayers have been answered.

the only change happening is to a previously worn pair of underwear.....I see/hear nothing different
other than the day to day poedunk complaints/touting of the Hatfields and McCoys.....schoolyard banter
at best....

THIS IS BIGGER THAN JUST ROTTERDAM....

The residents elected FDG as Supervisor...and that is who they expect to run the town!  There is no reason for a full time Deputy Supervisor...the Reps didn't need one.   I'm anxious to see how this unfolds...FDG made a lot of promises and needs to deliver.   If the Dems wanted Bob G to supervise the town, they should have run him as their candidate.
Give the residents what/who they voted for!

FDG---upset about his assessment of a property that HE developed due to his hard work (with no help
from the government?)....now he is either out of touch or thinks he over-invested into Poedunk
Rotterdam with the rest of us.....he's a 'big fish' of sorts in this town....so because the value of his home
is high(he worked for it) he is SHOCKED at his taxes.....

do we really think he gives a rats a@@ about yours or mine?....so what is he going to do? get rid of state
mandates? get rid of senior programs(his friends)? what? or.....will he get the value of his home lowered
to reflect a decrease in the amount of his percentage of the levy?....which if he does and all the other
'big fish' of this Poedunk town do(and have) it lowers the value for EVERYONE.....so,,,,is it priviledge?
is it cheapness? is it selfishness? is it gumba gangstas?....what?

what happens when the valuation of a town goes down???? ANYONE CARE TO GIVE THEIR 2CENTS???

23 Yankee--you don't get it.  The sheeple voted for CHANGE!  Time for the Reps to go on vacation.  The Dems will be busy taking a full audit once they get in and then assess the situation.  It is Howdy Doody time!   Has he resigned yet?

PDQ seems to understand what happened in the past and what needs to be done in the future.  PDQ you are PDS!

It's not going to matter whether the dems or reps are in. They are all the same. They have all had their share of making bad decisions and using poor judgement. It's just the dems turn now.

If anyone thinks that the sky is going to open up and the 'anointed one' will grace our town, is short sighted at best, be it dem or rep. There is nothing new under the sun that shines on rotterdam. IMHO

If the new administration does not produce the results that the residents want there will eventually be an overhaul of the whole administration just like there was in this election.

Mr. Delgallo states he is "going to run this town like a business". He admitted
himself, he has no idea what his holdings are. Good luck people of Rotterdam,
you got exactly what you wished for!

Who is going to run, organize, raise money, etc? You, Shadow? Or Cicero? There will be no overhaul of anything, you only have one party left.

The NNTP party, of which I worked for and supported, or a party that will run a candidate that I could support will be able to do that. The Reps made a big mistake and went with the wishes of their party instead of what the people in this town really wanted and if the Reps ever hope to get elected in the near future they will have to change the way they think and act. Arrogance and back room deals will lose you an election every time.

The Rotterdam Republicans will never change under the current leadership.  People like Graham will continue to brow beat and mock me and you as novice and naive.  Graham thinks we need the party more than the party needs us.  That's how confused their thinking is.  I've always said, these people are party first, principles non-existent.

We know what we have with the Democrat and Conservative Parties.  They represent the cross section of Schenectady County and Rotterdam of people who's  livelihoods depend on political power in one shape or another.  The Republicans tried to use that same tactic by trying to claim the REMS as a perennial voting block in future elections.  Don't the Republicans understand that when they try to act like Democrats, they lose?

Once again Cissy...sadly mistaken.  Should have left things alone in the Assessor's Office and there would have benn no FDG  (Don't believe me?? Ask em)....Let the professionally trained public servants do the job as directed by the former Admin.  No you idiots dump the former Assessor because he wouldn't take care of the Republican friends and family and what happens next???  Voila.....hire a dismal dolt like Craig Surprise.....shoulda listen to the Macejka's instead of the lame duck Greasemer.  Learn your lesson yet Cissy???   HeHeHe

There are high ranking life long Rotterdam Democrats that were glad to see Macejka go.  One in particular actually warns anybody that lives in Guilderland to stay clear of him.  Speaks volumes, don't ya think?  Paulino couldn't even find a spot for him in Schenectady County, he had to go to Albany County.  HeHeHeHeHe

Yeah, because Macejka would have never assessed the 14 new structures on DelGallo's property.  Raising his property value to its proper market value.  That's why he kept his job under Constantino- Bird of a feather, flock together.
