The Town Board has left the public hearing open regarding the proposed 2010 Town Budget.  Residents have an opportunity to discuss the content Tuesday night 11/10/09, at Town Hall, 7:00pm.  Because of the Wednesday holiday, the Town Board public hearing extension was moved to Tuesday, if anyone is interested . . .

Good luck with the invitation, Avon.  They'd rather complain about the town's expenses, employees, etc on the
forum.  It's easier to sit at a computer and type a bunch of garbage than to stand up and speak at TH.

I sincerely hope Mr. del Gallo will be making comments at tomorrow night's hearing...sort of a way to kick-start his regime.  I look forward to hearing what he has to say!

I hope he doesn't.  I think that might be ungracious to show up there and start up with Steve about the budget.  Steve lost--he should finish up business and get out.  I am sure he will be working overtime now.  Odd because my daughter called him seven weeks ago and he still has not returned her call. Bad feature.  Paolino called you back within hours as I remember.

What?  Every member of the newly elected team ought to be in attendance and offering input.  Forget graciousness...no one is suggesting rudeness...but the new team needs to hit the ground running...now, not later.  Two are novices, remember?  They ran saying they had a plan.  When do they reveal it?  This is an opportunity to help craft the budget they will be starting with.

I wholly agree.  Let's see what happens.  I'm betting only Godlewski and Martin make a peep, as indicated by past meetings.

Well if anyone is going to speak it SHOULD be Godlewski--at least he has had experience with all of that.  Can anything be done to change the outcome of the budget now?  Of course Godlewski would speak, he has been riding shotgun on the budget, assessments etc. for quite awhile.

My comment came from feeling like "ST lost" let these people finish their business pack and go.  Wouldn't like to see anything confrontational and I think there still may be some of that feeling in the air.  Certainly
at the meeting I was at yesterday, the Rotterdam Reps looked very foolish.  I would go to the meeting but am working tonight.

Interesting...ST always answers my phone calls and e-mails within hours!  And I'm not a Republican, imagine that.    I know several other people who have had similar positive responses from ST and they are far from influential people; just plain residents!

Guess your comment sounded valid until others disclosed that they had a different outcome.   Once again, it's easier to post lame comments rather than do something constructive about it!

I am a registered blank and I think I have emailed and or called S.T. 4 or x's in the last year and he has always returned the email or phone call within the hour...really!

Clubhouse--you know nothing.  My daughter was virtually hostage in her house because the new project had so much equipment there she was totally blocked in her driveway and she needed to catch a plane.  You are just wrong.  Fiorillo called her and said ST WOULD call her.  He just never bothered.  So you are a no nothing and have no credibility.  Maybe he just doesn't call back the Democrats--oh I forgot she is a CONSERVATIVE!  Take a hike.
