Republicans plan
candidates’ forum

ROTTERDAM — The town Republicans will host a public candidates forum and have invited the other political parties to attend.
The GOP candidates are scheduled appear at the Rotterdam Senior Center on Hamburg Street at 7 p.m. today . The purpose of the forum will be to present their visions of the town to the public in lieu of their inability to answer questions at the League of Women Voters’ event last week. ..............>>>>..............>>>>............http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....ppName=1

As I recall the senior center was "off limits" for campaign purposes.  I see Tommasone thinks he can utilize it to his purposes now that he is king.  Will he be bringing Surprise with him?  Political activity at the Center is wrong.  Just goes to show how underhanded Tommasone is.

BTW--the year Diane Marco was running against JOhn Mertz (yes he lost) she didn't even come to the senior meeting before the election because she felt attending the meeting would sway seniors.  That's the difference between ethical and sleazy politics.  Stevie Ego so in trouble that he is off running to seniors to hold his hand.

Isn't it nice to have a job where you can sit on a message board all day and your boss doesn't care (or know)?

Let's see-----this could go far.....how to sway seniors.....talk about medicare/social security/fixed income
......and it could go further......

a town dedicated to seniors....housing discounts tax rebates etc........

some folks ARE more equal than others.......if that is what you are worried about Cal.......

what about the newbies with kids????? are you saying seniors are THAT shortsighted that the poor ole
folks cant think rationaly? you should sit with Sal for awhile......mix the oil from your lamps......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

This should be held on Halloween. Then all the cross dressers here could attend. The trick is on the sheeple again.

Is this going to be during a senior meeting? Maybe I read it wrong, but I thought they were just using the building. Or one room any way. I didn't realize that it was going to be held during and at a senior citizen meeting.

The Town is not dedicated to seniors.  Tax rebates are the same ones my senior get in albany.  Albany is dedicated to the seniors.  They help with many many needs for the seniors.

It was a town rule that no political stuff happen at the Center.  That was a HUGE NO NO!  Result Diane Marco, although the liason to the Senior Association, didn't even come to the meeting preceding the election.  Not my rule--Town decision along with the seniors before I showed up.

Interestingly in Albany, that kind of intereaction is welcomed here and all the candidates come to forums that I do for the seniors.  Not frowned on here.

With Benny--cross-dressers from the board (this board) will go because they are the ones who are in deep weeds.  Bet the Reps wish they were smoking it rather than walking in it.

Not sure.  But the building was tabu in my day for that stuff.  Ask the administrator of this board.  She posted the info.

Not sure...but sure enough to assume, and spew garbage.

Perhaps you can make another call, Cal, and find out!

Tommasone is paying to rent the room. Before you had so much interest in this, and before the Democrat party fielded such weak candidates, the debates used to be held there, so as far as that nonsense of making an issue where there isn't one, being town property, you can't censor speech there. I do recall Dianne Marco and Paul Tonko having their liberal lunch and learns there often too. Of course it is only conservative republicans who are not allowed to appear there in the eyes of the liberal activists.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

GB ~ are you suggesting that Town property may now be used by any political party or person?  Town Hall meeting room is now available to hold political activities?

Cal ~ I have to agree with you on this one ~ the senior center should be off limits.  (By the way, I see you're still obsessed with Mertz ~ just can't go a day without sharing the love lmao)

For all ~ DelGallo has taken a pounding and will not win.  Looks like the Greaseman may have bet on the wrong horse this race.

GB--you are way off base.  If there was a lunch and learn with Diane Marco, it wasn't there when I was there.  AS for Tonko, he was as you will remember the Assemblyman representing the district. And it was THE SENIORS WHO INVITED HIM.  So you would be wrong again.

Felipe--as for Mertz, that particular election was of note because of the way Mr. Wonderful conducted his dirty campaign.  As you  will remember Diane could have had a charge brought against him and she would  have prevailed regarding his dirty campaign tricks.  The obssession with Mertz is yours. Frankly you only bring him up when I mention him.  People post about him continually and that seems to be ok.  Either you are obssessed with me or obssessed with Mertz. Not to worry, he's all yours.
