I read with great disappointment that Rene is supporting Mike V. and Brad on the blogs.  I understand everyone's right to choose, but why Rene chose to make her feelings public just before the election is quite telling of just how dirty politics can be.

BT and Senders have said I'm a nice person and I do try to be. I personally could not damage someone's chances like she has with her support of a two non-Republicans. Maybe she will be switching party too?

All I can say is I am a professional and committed to helping people. If the voters don't want that type of person on the County Legislature, then that is their decision. I'm a straight shooter and I tell it like it is. I wish more in politics would do that.

What are you talking about?  The Republican Party un-endorsed one of its own and they themselves endorsed Mike Viscusi-A Conservative!

Rene better watch out.  The sharks are circling.  She knows what happened to Mertz for voicing his opinion.

Rene, thanks for posting. And I apologize for my knee jerk reaction in respond to the campaign mailer. Although I don't see M.V. in the same light as you do and clearly see Littlefield as the top contender, I appreciate your candidness and straight forwardness on this issue.

And Ms. Barrie, I don't call this dirty politics at all. I call it 'doing what is best for the taxpayers'. I believe that you may have taken this personally. Politics are not and should never be personal. Nor should it be party exclusive.

However, I will still be voting ROW F....only!

Mary Barrie--I do not know you but certainly know of you and you appear to have a lot of support in my neighborhood. And I have much your daughter and she is very sweet. All say what a nice person you are which is why you must get out of politics.  Nice folks seem to lose their civility in this profession.  One day you're sweet as candy and the next day calling people a Nazi in public.

Everyone appreciates you willingness to serve.  Just not sure if it's worth the aggravation for good and decent folks.

A true conservative will clearly vote for the candidate that most represents their beliefs.

Rene has every right to endorse who she feels is best. She is not some stooge on the strings. Somebody sold you a bill of goods-set you up for a defeat-why is this considered dirty? Rene is a great Supervisor and entitled to her opinions-like anybody else.

Don't waste your vote on either dead ender-vote ONLY for Brad Littlefield for County Legislature on Row F. Brad has distinguished himself at every debate and public forum. He is for the oppressed taxpayers not the failed political hacks.

Nice in politics means you are always trying to fluff someones pillow to make them 'feel better'.....
so what makes you 'feel good'.......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

We need people in office that aren't afraid to make the tough decisions even if it results in some services being cut back.

I have a feeling Mary will be but a memory on Tuesday.  Rene has the ability to endorse whomever she chooses.  Period, and the end.  I'm gathering that Mary would prefer Rene blindly endorse all Republicans, regardless of her personal views.  THAT sounds like dirty politics!

Not everyone will like you in this world, Mary.  Suhrada is outspoken about Metroplex, and has fought against them for the taxpayers.  He's a Republican...should you switch parties for not agreeing with him, and instead kissing Ray Gillen's tuchas during the debate?

Is this an attempt to speak some form of Yiddish, TBV?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

No one ever tells me what to do. I act on my own. Always. And I don't follow a personality cult (of Mertz) or anyone anyone else. I do what I believe is best for the taxpayers and residents of the town.

GB ~ my apologies ~ I was actually referring to Joe Surhada.

and ~ you don't follow "personality of cult (of Mertz)"?  What does that mean?  In spite of the attack on Mertz ~  it is my understanding that Surhada and Mertz get along quite well ~ are you holding that against Joe?

As for drinking the Rep kool-aid ~ sorry, you've been drinking it by the keg ~ what was Ego's budget proposals the last four years?  Dems just sent a mailer telling us that it was in the double digits ~ is that true?

I am sure you'll duck this question
