Highly intelligent, 24yo, newlywed, engineer, locally born and raised, Schalmont grad.  A real keeper if you ask me.  He will be on the Board come January 1, 2010.

Cal/PDQ ~ Tommasone might be a dope, but you two are still stuck in the 60's smokin' it!  We all know that Sal is off his rocker ~ you two lose all credibility when you start suggesting that Martin will even be close.

BT ~ I'm voting for McGarry and I hear it from everyone that he's on the doors non-stop.  You and your friends can buy into all the nonsense ~ but if McGarry has a strong two weeks he could pull this out!  How stupid would you feel if they guy comes up two votes short of winning ~ all because of who you DIDN'T want in office.  I thought the point of these guys was to give us another choice ~ not a choice of the lesser of two evils.

Brad ~ nice post.  I love it.  The race is on ~ who will give us the biggest upset?

Filly- if this town would put someone in like Joe Signore, Carolina Lazzari and Holly Vellano in office on their first run for the seats they held for two terms, then anything can happen.  I suggest you stop with the 60's 70's throwback.  The stars are lined up for a sweep of monumental proportions seen before in this quaint little town.  Matt Martin and Bobby G have three lines and a world of momentum.  It will be verrrry close I am told but the voters have had enough of the currrent 5-0, yes Mr Supervisor, I second, Where's MDV, wake up Sigsnore, Town Board.

No questions Littlefield will be the big winner.  That will be the upset.  Heard from several folks HV andJD cam up empty and Viscusi was pathetic.  It will be Littlefield and a Dem.

Felipe--you could be right and PDQ and I are wrong--because even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

ROTFLMAO!! One party rule is horrible-no matter who it is. Board meetings are a total farce almost as comical as the City Council. Then add Mr Surprise to the mix.

The only possible dark horse is Brad Littlefield, a real leader, who calls them as he sees them and is not running to put some stunad cousin in a County no-work "post".

There is no way that Brad will win this seat.  Line F???  Brian will not either.  Minor party candidates play spoiler, that's about it.  There aren't enough registered voters in Duanesburg and Princetown to overcome the huge enrollment edge JD and HV enjoy.  That being said, why isn't Mertz being touted?  He knows damn well that he needed to win the Republican Primary as did Brad and Brian need to win the conservative primarys.

I admire the hutspah but its a HUGE longshot for either of them.  O Connor has the uphill battle of an active campaign from Stan and three lines for Nicki.

DelGallo, Godlewski, DiLeva and Martin will shape the future over the next four years.  Mark it down.  There will also be a special election next year for a soon to be vacant (after election) council seat.

Start dusting off the resumes' The Revitilize Rotterdam Ticket is kickin a**!

PDQ--HV made a poor showing last night.  Of course that was easy for her to do.  She doesn't have an "A" game.  JD was just more of the same but by all accounts Brad blew everyone away.  I think in town the Dems have got it.

I am voting for mcgarry. Just repeating concerns of a handful of people. If they think fdg is gaining momentum and mcgarry could be the spoiler and lose....than they will vote for s.t..

And I wouldn't feel stupid if mcgarry comes up two votes short of winning. Cause it wouldn't be my vote he was lacking. I'm voting for him.

I suggest that voters show the same courage as the No New Tax Party candidates who are taking on the political party bosses to offer to
residents an alternative to the failed two-party rule.

It was said that forming an independent ballot line couldn't be done -- it was.  They said that none of the NNTP candidates would win a primary and take a major party endorsement -- it was (by Michael O'Connor).  Keep telling us what we can't do -- we will continue to prove you wrong.

Voters should support the candidates who they believe will best represent their views and who will work to promote their ideology.  Listening to
those like GrahamBonnet and PDQ that say that independent candidates can't win and will serve only as spoilers plays to their cause.
Trying to predict the outcome and listening to reports of alleged polls is counterproductive.  Vote with your head and your heart.

I won't comment on any of the candidates individually, but will state that there are some that lack vision, leadership qualities, and principled convictions required to address the issues that confront our community and our people.

The voters, and not the nay-sayers, will have the final say on November 3rd.
