Your statement is not a good one for NNTP.  First the PAST was far better than the present.  Paolino did circles around ST.  Surprise wouldn't have even been invited in to clean Macejka's shoes.  Paolino ran a tight ship.  And he was a fair person.  Steverino and the crew have been pathetic in office which is way they are desperate today.  That being said, Brad is an especially good choice for the leg.  Why???  Because Holly is a lousy choice.  FDG, hopefully will be sitting in TH after tomorrow.

Benny has it right  "Tax and Spend team."  Steverino/Surprise won't even win Miss Congeniality. (because they are rude to Eunice.)

hope FDG rides to work on the backhoe!

Paolino might have been considered a good supervisor had he stuck around long enough to see a fair reval completed instead of just voting to do the reval and then jump ship to take a lucrative job with the city Dems leaving Rotterdam swinging in the breeze.

Shadow--you would be wrong as to jumping ship to take a lucrative job in the city.  That business was further down the road.  Although he was the one who made the final decision, the influence to get out of politics came from elsewhere.  He was a FINE leader for the town.  And also the most knowledgeable and professional that office has ever scene.  He was brilliant with figuring out budgets and he LISTENED to everyone.  Very willing to receive imput from all sides.  That just isn't the way it went down.

I know Shadow it seems that I am spinning it but I am telling you that I know that story from the inside.  Of course, I respect the way you feel about it.

The only reason why alot of folks call the past better is because there was NO CHANGE.....from either
party.....no reval, dirt roads, shanties being built by the thousands helter skelter around town....etc...
now we come to the time when equalization hits us in the a** and GE/union finally stand on their own
and now the town has too stand on its own two feet with a PLAN......holy cow....what are we to do???

that's right.....bury one's head in the sand......

My father also drove a backhoe.  WE used to get rides in the bucket.  Maybe Frank could use it to help move Steverino and Surprise and the team out of TH.
