Good ideas? WTF! Not only should he be fired he should be throw in prison for sedition. He blames the 9/11 terrorist attack on the USA, he blames US companies for polluting only black neighborhoods and he is an admitted Communist. If you think he is a good "czar" for anything-wake up.

Is this the change you sheeple wanted? What a disgrace for the pathetic Obama administration. No wonder he's below 50% approval in record time.

You are correct benny. Van Jones is a self proclaimed radical revolutionary communist!

I don't think that obama can redeem himself anymore. He is clearly not presidential material. He clearly thinks he can run washington like chicago. His relationships and close ties to everyone from rev. wright, up to the present are questionable at best.

I think it is a fair assessment to suggest that obama just wait it out and sit in the oval office, for the next 3 1/2years and do nothing. That would be in the very best interest of the american people. IMHO

As Obama said if you really want to know what I stand for just look at the people I surround myself with.

Obama is in a complete nosedive. Many people that supported him have come up to me and said they should have listened.

Everything we feared before the election, the inexperience, the communist friends, the radical abortion policies, the debt, has come true. If the REPS had run Gov Huckabee they would have won. They decided to go with the next in line and got destroyed. 2010 cannot come soon enough. Bye-Bye Tonko.

What wonderful and uniting leaders he has brought into our nation government. I am sure it will contribute to the next Democrat landslide this autumn.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama's adviser Van Jones has resigned amid controversy over past inflammatory statements, the White House said early Sunday.

Jones, an administration official specializing in environmentally friendly "green jobs" with the White House Council on Environmental Quality was linked to efforts suggesting a government role in the 2001 terror attacks and to derogatory comments about Republicans.

The resignation comes as Obama is working to regain his footing in the contentious health care debate.

Jones issued an apology on Thursday for his past statements. When asked the next day whether Obama still had confidence in him, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said only that Jones "continues to work in the administration."

Obama 'Green Jobs' Adviser Van Jones Resigns Amid Controversy
Van Jones, an administration official specializing in environmentally friendly "green jobs," has been linked to efforts suggesting a government role in the Sept. 11 terror attacks and to derogatory comments about Republicans.

WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama's adviser Van Jones has resigned amid controversy over past inflammatory statements, the White House said early Sunday.

The matter surfaced after news reports of a derogatory comment Jones made in the past about Republicans, and separately, of Jones' name appearing on a petition connected to the events surrounding the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks. That 2004 petition had asked for congressional hearings and other investigations into whether high-level government officials had allowed the attacks to occur.

"On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me," Jones said in his resignation statement. "They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide."....................>>>>................>>>>......................http://www.foxnews.com/politic.....ns-amid-controversy/

RAW DATA: Text of Resignation Letter From Van Jones
Resignation letter from Obama adviser Van Jones, sent to Council on Environmental Quality Chair Nancy Sutley.

FOXNews.com
Sunday, September 06, 2009

"I am resigning my post at the Council on Environmental Quality, effective today.

On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me. They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide.

I have been inundated with calls - from across the political spectrum - urging me to "stay and fight."

But I came here to fight for others, not for myself. I cannot in good conscience ask my colleagues to expend precious time and energy defending or explaining my past. We need all hands on deck, fighting for the future.

It has been a great honor to serve my country and my President in this capacity. I thank everyone who has offered support and encouragement. I am proud to have been able to make a contribution to the clean energy future. I will continue to do so, in the months and years ahead."

Continues to work in the administration as 'what'? Jones should not be working for the same government that he believes staged 911. He should not be working within a democratic government when he has proclaimed himself a communist. He should not be employed and paid by us at ANY level.

Gee let's get rev.wright on board too.

Robert Gibbs should also pack it in. The worst press secretary ever. Van Jones was told to resign. We will have to wait for these "great ideas" that Sal was babbling about. Somehow we will get by without a commie truther.

Beck: American People Stood Up to Bring Down Van Jones

Sunday, September 6, 2009 8:43 PM

Fox News host Glenn Beck, who led the charge calling for the resignation of President Barack Obama’s “Green Jobs Czar” Van Jones said Sunday that Jones is only the first of many radicals in the administration who should be facing questions.

“The American people stood up and demanded answers," Beck wrote in a statement. “Instead of providing them, the Administration had Jones resign under cover of darkness. I continue to be amazed by the power of everyday Americans to initiate change in our government through honest questioning, and judging by the other radicals in the administration, I expect that questioning to continue for the foreseeable future."

Jones resigned late Saturday following mounting criticism over his past statements and associations. The tipping point came when it was discovered that he signed a petition in 2004 supporting the "9/11 truther" movement, which believes the Bush administration may have been complicit in the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

“Much of the credit for Jones resigning should go to Fox's Glenn Beck, who as HuffPo's Ryan Grim notes, has his "first scalp,” Politico reported Sunday.

Beck’s victory was being lauded by conservative columnists and grudgingly acknowledged by liberals across the country Sunday.

“Face it, Glenn Beck won a big victory for conservative America with the resignation of Van Jones,” wrote Yael T. Abouhalkah, Kansas City Star Editorial Page columnist.

“Beck kept up the pressure, and the mainstream media reported on it. As a result, Jones couldn't really muster any effective counter-attack. He had made mistakes, tried to apologize for them but was too late,” Abouhalkah added.

“As scary as this may sound… Glenn Beck might actually have more power than anybody else representing the Republican Party,” the Web site Political Lore.com wrote Sunday. “As the Republican Party seemingly has no leader in their ranks, at least one that can represent the voice of the people. Even though Glenn Beck is an independent, he represents more Republicans than the Republican party.”.................>>>>.......................>>>>.............http://www.newsmax.com/headlin.....mp;promo_code=8834-1
