. If Eunice were able to even use a computer she probably wouldn't need an assistant and i'm sorry but in this day and age, you wouldn't be hired to this kind of position if you didn't know how to use a computer.

Funny, she was hired by the voters by a pretty convincing margin. Taxpayers hired her, taxpayers have the option of firing her ... but it'll be done at Election time, majority vote.

I am aware of the process of an election. I was merely pointing out that if this weren't an elected position, Eunice wouldn't be hired. Shouldn't that say something to the people voting??

She doesn't know how to use any kind of modern technology and from what I hear refuses to learn. And she needs an assistant to do her job?
I have never heard of a clerk having an assistant. Seems like a waste of $$.

Contrary to your belief Eunice used the state decals computer to get me a lifetime hunting license a few weeks ago. Has the town offered to send her to a class to learn how to use a computer since all the technology came into being long after she was hired. I also remember that the town had a computer for years and refused to use it and all the town records were almost impossible to find when someone needed some information.

SS What test did Lynn Trifilo Fiorillo take for her $16/hr part time, come and go as she pleases job in her childhood buddy's office that makes her the "perfect" candidate for public office?

Another Stevie Ego backroom deal as they try to capitialize on a fainting spell.  Trifilo-Fiorillo is no shrinking violet I assure you and the the voters will turn out in droves to voice their displeasure with the latest shenanigans to oust Eunie conjured up by Lynn and Stevie.

As Mark Twain once deadpanned "the early reports of my demise are premature."  Or sumptin like that.

I don't know what job sector you work for ...maybe it's state employees that think they are entitled to training for every single advancement in modern technology. I don't think so.  If you don't keep up with general advancements in the modern technological world then you're doing yourself a professional disservice. Besides, I don't think she should need training to learn how to use voicemail.

I am glad that you were able to obtain a lifetime license from her, but you seem to be in the minority.

I don't remember saying a test needed to be taken, the test is constantly administered. The test that Eunice failed is being able to do her job without needing additional hired help. The test she failed was efficiency. This has nothing to do with Eunice as a person, so I think you should stop with the personal attacks on Lynn. It's rather classless.

Like I said before - you have yet to say anything useful. You have said absolutely nothing about why Eunice is better for this job than Lynn and you have not said anything about the capabilities of either of these people to do the job at hand.

You called Lynn Fiorillo a gossip monger with a napoleon complex, but it seems that you're proving that you are indeed the one who are these things.

This is more crap from a few dead enders. I was just at the Town Clerk's Office. Eunice Esposito is on the job and feeling fine. Couldn't agree with Puddy more-somebody dropped a dime and shame on them.

The attempt to make political hay out of this because they can't find any candidates has backfired. Eunice Esposito will win by another huge landslide.

Answer the question SS  You seem to know all about Lynn so well.  What are her qualifications for her present job and why would she be a better Town Clerk.  Seems pretty fair to me.  Did she take a test for her job?  Was it posted?  Does she pay union dues?  Does she have set hours? Does she use her time wisely as a part timer?  Is she an officer of the Republican Town Committee?  Is she political??  Does she have connections to minor party officials?  Does her husband have a patronage position in Town?  C'mon SS Join the fray.

Thanks Ben!  I didn't think I was a total blank.  On another note I couldn't agree with you more on the Bellick re-appt.  That is an outrage and reminds me of the Rotterdam Republicans appointing losing candidates to jobs around Town Hall.  Frank Renna, Jack Denny, Ed Vacca, Mike Greasemer come to mind.  Anyone else I am missing?

Funny, I actually don't remember saying anything about Lynn at all. I was simply saying that if you're going to throw out all of these personal attacks then maybe these are questions you should be answering yourself instead of laying into her character. I have no interest in arguing or throwing fits as you seem to be doing - if you want to call that a fray then go ahead, I will not participate. If you want to talk about the actual issues, then perhaps.

Part of what bothers me so much about your posts is that you are demonizing Lynn and Tommasone for tipping the press about Eunice being hospitalized, when you don't even know if they did. Then you go on to personally attack her. How is this better than tipping off a newspaper? You are a giant hypocrite.

----
To comment on your questions though - this is for TOWN CLERK. Are you serious? Is she political?? Does her husband have a patronage position??? Give me a break.
You act like as a Town Clerk she is going to have some overwhelming control over law and policy. It's kind of ridiculous.

To be fair all parties do that-need I remind readers of Lumpy Kosiur-who after getting crushed by Amedore launded in a cushy County lob job. Let's call it the same both ways. Another time we can review CONS patronage. As far as the City School Bored nothing compares to that cesspool-the light at the end of the tunnel has been blown out.

Have to laugh about the fake outrage over Eunice Esposito. Eunice is the grand dame of Rotterdam. She will outlast many more Supervisors and win by a landslide no matter how many false alarms are sounded. This is more rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic for a party in total disarray.

Attack???  Who has the most to gain from the appearence of an incapatiated, frail, human being who just so happens to be in a political race with the Supervisor's confidential secretary?  Don't be a bozo SS.  Lynn is more than capable to rear her "darkside" along with Steve's prodding and guidance to stoop to that level.

I have first hand knowledge of Lynn's ways and when you put yourself up for public office, you and your family, though unfortunate become public fodder.  This is footyball SS. Put me in coach I am ready to play.  Might that apply to Lynn?

Hmmmmm

I worked in the private sector and when our company started using computers in order to make things easier every employee was sent to school for a 2 week course to learn all aspects of the computer that pertained to our jobs. It only makes sense if the company is going to require you as an employee to input data you must learn how to do it the way the company wants and it will also be uniform throughout the company.

Yes, and what if one of those workers refused the training??
They'd probably be fired.
