Just looking at it, you can see that it's going to fall apart if they try to move INTO it, much less just move it.

Who cares?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

If they really do move it....I want to watch.....popcorn and all......it'll be cool....although I disagree with moving it at all....just put
it out of it's misery.......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

If they move it the building will lose it's status as a historical building.

Actually --- that is a good point --- the house is only marginally historical.   The site is historical but the
house has been modified so many times.   At best, the house was the summer home for a few years of
the Stanford family --- Stanford went off to California became a Robber Baron ... screwed and looted a
bunch of people to make a huge fortune .... mistreated his son -- who ended up dying young ..  so
Stanford's widow took the "bloody money" that her husband had stolen and founded Stanford University in
memory of her poor son -- who couldn't even stand the rotten bastard father.

If we are going to honor the summer home of a character like Stanford ..  maybe we can find an old
outhouse in the county --- an outhouse that oneof the founders of the Klu Klux Klan or some other
similar group took a dump in once ... and make that a historical site.

Ya know, I don't really care if they knock it down or not.....HOWEVER.........Susan Savage and the metroplex preached tothe choir that the building would stay in it's present location with any new development. Guess they LIED.....AGAIN!!!!

That is the real issue here.....the people who care about this building, for whatever reason........WERE LIED TO by Susan Savage and the metroplex!!! Plain and simple!

Then Savage and the metroplex lied to them right from the beginning!! That is the issue here! Cause the building can come down for all I care!

Not only do you lie, but in true Paladino fashion, you keep repeating that misinformation over and over again, hoping that it will be accepted as truth.

I'm surprised you didn't do it in all caps.

Savage, and Metroplex had nothing to do with Ingersoll.
It is in The Town Of Niskayuna, and that's where all arguments took place.
All the decisions involving it were made by the Niskayuna town board, not Schenectady.

There is a pretty good running chronicle of the whole story, encompassing the last 5 years, at The Schenectady Informer site.

I was at most of the town meetings concerning it, and trust me, Savage wasn't at a single one.

Tommy,

These folks would never let something like the FACTS and TRUTH  get in the way of their negativism and
tearing down of anyone that doesn't agree with them.

Oh my word. That was by far the best typo of my life.
I accidentally posted the link to a video that chronicles the mindset of a typical teabagger, as opposed to the link that chronicled the demise of the Ingersoll mansion, at the hands of NISKAYUNA politicians.

Here, is the link I meant to post.

No regrets though. Where else could you get to see bumble's  audition tape for American Idol?
Is this a great country, or what?

NISKAYUNA
Court: Developer can move Stanford Mansion
Preservationists say they’ll continue to fight plan

BY MICHAEL LAMENDOLA Gazette Reporter

A five-member panel of the state Supreme Court Appellate Division on Wednesday refused to block a developer from moving the historic Stanford Mansion to another spot on the former Ingersoll property at State Street and Balltown Road.
The 5-0 decision frees up developer John Roth to relocate the circa-1816 mansion from its original foundation to another spot on the property. He said he will move the house in about three weeks and will use the opportunity to announce tenants for the first of several retail outlets on the 12.5-acre site.
“We are very excited to fi nally move the project forward,” he said. “We have enough tenants to get the project started. We will build it as tenants are signed and spaces are leased,” he said. ..................>>>>.............>>>............................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r00103&AppName=1

The liberal progressive socialists all drink from the same glass and take their instructions from the same play book!
