Stock Building Supply on Duanesburg Road, once Bellevue Builders, has announced it is closing in August. All the 156 employees will be laid off. This is more bad news for the depressed Schenectady County job market. We are still trying to relocate any of the promised Metrograft jobs.

Not the only boarded up building under Mr. Tomassone, Signore and Mertz.  Mr Paolino's administration brought us Railex, Price Chopper freezer warehouse, the settlement of the GE assessment crisis, lower tax rates, lower spending, condo development.  The gang of three has givenn the residents higher taxes, a bazillion studies, EMS services that will strangle us, a water tower in the JCT for a select few and help for a small number of residents whose cellar's floods, a nutty assessor who raised the assessments on 150 small business'.  What is going on with the 4 corners?  Capitol Plaza?  Curry Road shopping center? Hamburg Street?  Nothing but lip.

Throw these bums out!!

Wrong as usual. Steve T had nothing to do with this national corporate decision. The problem can only be lais at the feet of Obama and County failure Death Ray who keeps lying about job creation.

But he did create one new hot dog job! Stop the presses at the Gazetto! The mobbed vendor outside the jammed Taj Mahal welfare Office.

That is bullcrap in a chef salad!  The leader of the Town could have reached out to the company, negotiate something,  Steve T is not a leader he is a dismal political hack who has lost his way.  Keeps hanging his hat on the demise of Mr Constantino and the Dems but I take those days back and so would alot of town residents.  This cast of republican misfits have failed us and it shows at every major intersection in town.  Hey Mr Salami you keep make excuses for Steve T.  We like that.

Under the brilliant leadership of Steve Tommasone, Mertz, Signore and Joe Suhrada a private deal has been reached! Not only are all the jobs safe but more maybe added! Great news for Rotterdam!

As usual Death Ray did absolutely nothing but did hear he is about to announce another governmental gin mill for Downtown! Release the lead balloons!

I don't know how stock has held on for this long. They are clearly NOT a Bellevue Builders, that's for sure! I know I wouldn't miss it!

Strock filed for bankruptcy http://www.stockbuildingsupply.com/news.asp?ItemID=257&rcid=11&pcid=5&cid=11

This is just cleaning up the mess they got into a LONG time ago.

I just came up the east coast - passed THREE Strock locations - they were all closed.  There's nothing Tommasone, Gillen or Savage could have done about it.

According to WGY a new investors group of lumber people will be purchasing some locations, including Rotterdam and expanding! Again private investors-not Metrograft socialism. Great news for Rotterdam and Schenectady County!

Of course, Death Ray G who is sitting on a $100 MILLION honey pot could have done something. He is only concerned with the 400 Block of State St-the rest of the County can rot. To blame local yokels like Puddy Cat always does is stuna.

Ask Mr Lucarelli, Mr Amedore, Mr Healy, Mr. Ruetter, Mr Larned, Mr Iavonella, Mr Gabriele, Mr. DelGallo, Mr Mallozzi, present and former elected officials what they think of Steve Tomassone

It aint pretty.  Stock selling to a private investor was done in spite of the gang of three.

As far as the revaluation Shadow, its never easy because the nature of that beast after so many years of burgeoning inequaties.  One thing for sure though Mr Paolino kept taxes low and saved us from huge refunds for GE and Rotterdam Square Mall.  Give credit where credit is due.

I didn't know that these 3 had THAT much control on the outcome of a major national chain. WOW!!!

Puddy...when you post, you really should leave out the names such as Lucarelli, Amedore...etc...cause you are coming off as an ignorant idiot and since you appear to be the spokesperson for these people.....well ya know what they say....birds of a feather....

Although I'm sure that you have their permission to speak for them on a public forum...right?
