Cicero--good point. I wouldn't want Ali running the town either--he's been hit in the head too much. So what's ST's excuse? |

I've seen like a bazillion new Tommasone signs in my neighborhood in the last week or two. I almost wonder if him or family live in Colbrook... o
there are s.t. and crew signs EVERYWHERE! They clearly have the highbridge area all locked up. Those are the only signs ya see through that area. I can't wait until after the election to get these ugly, nasty, cluttery signs outta here. |

Maybe you haven't been following along. I support Brian McGarry. Not Steve T. Not FDG. |

Signs don't vote. Particularly those that are placed in right of ways, in front of vacant land parcels and empty storefronts, and those that are located on street corners. He/she who has the most signs may have the most money, but not necessarily the most votes. Additionally, consider that some of these campaign signs have four names on them. Does the private property owner, if applicable, support the slate of candidates or only one of those whose name appears on the sign? Lastly, it's difficult to tell which candidates have the most supporters from signs as some/many signs are reportedly being stolen by opponents and/or their supporters (a misdemeanor in areas where there is rule of law) |

LOL! That's what we look for in a Sheriff candidate? This is how the sign thing works. Requested a sign 6 years ago because my cousin was running. Got on a list and every 2 years more signs that I don't want are placed at my business. Signs on State roads are illegal and should be removed. Signs mean nothing-we saw that again in Schenectady-where Linda Bellick had more signs than votes and finished dead last. |

And if the shoe was on the other hand *giggles* Would you feel that way if it was one of Dagostino's signs stolen? |

As someone who used to to teach in a GED program I can tell you that FDG is definitely NOT illiterate and his computation skills are pretty amazing. Gerard Parisi is a total embarrassment for bringing this issue up. It made him look like extremely arrogant and grasping at straws to win this election. He should resign his position and then be disbarred on ethics charges. I hope all those folks who have not graduated from high school and use him as an attorney take their business elsewhere. Again I remind you FDG is a very successful businessman. ST and company cannot hold a candle to Frank. Frank has every right to run for office despite educational background. Parisi, Tommasone, Mertz, etc. cannot measure up. Frank will clean that place up and people will thank him for it. And btw, I know several immigrants from Italy living in Rotterdam who are voting for FDG because they trust him. All three families said they voted for ST in the past (because he is Italian) and found him to be a big disappointment and a dismal failure. They also referred to the Surprise package as a disgraziato. (good for nothing)
McGarry IS a very nice guy but just as green in politics as FDG and doesn't have the success Frank has.
And you are wrong about the ticket. Godlewski is a winner. He is very smart and a forward thinker. No the dems will do it. And they can do it alot easier now because Parisi was such a jerk. If they don't work out, we vote them out next time.
Gangsta gumbas......???????? I'm sorry....to stay in the past/cast is sad....and this town is quaint but needs to move on...... FDG might be nice,,,,but, I dont think he can afford EVERYONE in town...... |

What's up with the gangsta's and gumba speak? And there is NOTHING quaint about Rotterdam. You want quaint--move to Massachussets. FDG doesn't need the whole town to back him. ST never had that. He just needs one more vote than all the others to win. I believe he will get it. |
