So I have to tell you all, I was at Town Hall paying my wonderful tax bill this morning and I overheard the
Town Clerk tell a resident, there will be a lot of changes here come November, we are going back to the days
of John Kirvin.....I will make sure of it.  Really, are we really going back in time people.  Nothing like progress
or moving forward.....

My sentiments exactly.....

whom ever said that must surely know that the leaders elected come out of generations......they are made by
the hand of 'the present'......go back and the dark ages will come......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

While part of me thinks Eunice should retire, to have time to relax and enjoy, I dont' see where anyone things the clerk's office is outdated and as some will say it needs to "modernize"

Currently I can watch all the meetings on TV, I can read all the agenda's and minutes on line, I can download any form I need from the town's website, I can read all the codes, I can e-mail officials and elected.  I can pay my taxes on line.  And the assessment website (with info, photos, sizes, and sale prices and more)is the best one around.

How much more modern is needed?   You could go to Schenectady website, only one or two reps you can e-mail, the mayor never responds, and their assessment site is nothing but a list of one thru three familiy properties that is not searchable

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Well Sal, since you are the one who said Eunices assistant makes $200,000 a year and the feds are in town, I will take this gossip with a grain of salt.

Whenever I call about agendas/minutes, and the one time I called about code (ATV) I never spoke with the town clerk.  I'm to understand the supervisor's office handles all those requests.  Like many businesses, I would assume the town is looking to modernize record keeping.  Perhaps the proper use of technology will streamline the permitting process, be it fishing licenses, marriage licenses or handicap parking tags.

AARP-OMG! The ones that support OBAMACARE and have lost thousands of seniors? Support Eunice but if these horrible endorsements and letters continue she will be in trouble.

I won't be voting for town clerk or receiver of taxes. I never did.
