Heard from Buchanan that Mertz is having trouble getting signatures.  LOL  I am not surprised.  The man is hated throughout the town!

I'll take that information with a grain of salt.

That's pretty funny.  Don't believe it - it's not true.  I actually heard the same thing about his endorsed slate of Republicans...what did he have to say about their effort?

yes the repubs make the deals because they are losing the power over here in town and at the bagel shop people are talking about how screwed up they are and are going to be losing it all soon which will help the taxes in town NOW we can get the cuts we need and the police will get whet they need to in new cars guns and the new station which is a big problem since we are not backing the boys in blue like we should

Word is that republican infighting is getting heated up!  Rumor is that O'Connor filed a complaint against Tommasone for harassing one of his volunteers, I wonder if Mike is going to be able to stand up to Tommasone when he starts to bully him.  Not surprised actually, Steve doesn't tolerate anyone disagreeing with him - what a joke.

Could history be repeating its self?  I think so.  2001 Joe Sue Rah Rah, Tom and Gerry and Steve T go all out to dump Sigsnore.  Steve T and Katy O Connor blistered Joe Sigsnore at one of the first meetings after Joe S took over.  Steve railed against DeGeorgio and Aragosa and MacIsaac appointments.  Steve also made overtures about having dirt on Joe Sigsnore's goomade who worked in Town Hall.  Seems the names have changed to Fiorillo, Greasemer and Surprise.

Self destructive Rotterdam Republicans don't know any better I guess.  Mertz and Oconnor are just flies in the ointment just like 2001 Steve, Sue Rah Rah, Tommy Gun and Gerrry.  History repeating its self.

It appears that mertz didn't go along and that is why he didn't get the nod from tom and jerry. That will just be yet another nail in the coffin for the local reps leaders. There are many many residents who have turned against the reps JUST FOR THAT REASON ALONE!

As far a michael being able to stand up to the shred of the rep party that is left? Don't underestimate michael. M.O. is focused, honest, fair and doesn't let this bs bother him. He is very well liked and admired in the community.

Mertz and O'connor......
