I remember when one of my yougsteres was in High school over at the mohonasen campus.
Some of the boys discovered the loco weed.
There was a convicted felon in town at the time had something to do with the biker rally out in mariaville.
I called the local Policy officers to ask for some help.
Thes kids were turning 5 pounds a week ... not a bad haul for 10th graders.
I talked with them endlessly about the pros and cons of the loco weed.
Some of them got away from it.
But there was one very intelligent young man who had a bright future this boy was making a good bit of cash.
I asked the Policy officers if they could check it out ,I explained to them how these youngstres are our future and if they were to be arrested they would most likely be able to get some help.
The Policy officers told me it was not improtant enough that unless I could hand over the big guy it was not worth their time.
So now a bright young mans future was in the balance and iffin theseso called public servants actualy gave a crap they would have worked with a local resident to solve a problem.
But I guess they were too busy handing out dare coloring books and crayons.
Any way I met the convicted felon he was 47 years old and a real deadbeat.
I got together with some Hells Angel dudes and we squared him away.
No help from the Officals and no cost to the taxpayers.
So dont get all giddy about DARe.
