I am referring to the glowing praise we just hear about "No change." Have problems reading propaganda, Bumble? But when it came time to mention the other candidates all we got was the generalized "he drifted in the wrong direction..." Without offering specifics. Godlewski needs more time to develop since his tenure was cut short. yeah, Ok Mike. Now let's be honest instead of being a BS artist. WHY was his tenure short and WHY would he deserve more "latitude?" Refer to my above post. I don't mince words and I cut to the chase. You don't like the impoliteness of it? Join up with the Soviets. This is America. You want to run for office then be accountable and show me, don't tell me.
What past behavior warrants you endorsing HIM over his opponents like you did last night. Can we get specifics as to why he would do a better job based on past record than his opponents. I am really curious why you would endorse Bogod?
What are you talking about? I didn't "endorse" anyone (except maybe John Mertz). I gave an opinion of three candidates I was asked to give an opinion on. Case closed.
Listen....whether we like it or not, tax increases will be on the way within the next 2 year. Just the trillions that the feds are spending and the probability of future cuts to state budgets which will fall squarely on the city/towns/villages! That's a no brainer!
With this said.....this is clearly not the time to propose tax relief to the 'few' (in-law apt tax breaks) nor it is the time to financially support a townwide ambulance service that can and should be a private entity that is currently available. Nor was it the time to give Signore or any other townboardsman a raise!
And I like Michael questioned where the heck the $100,000 came from for REMS.
Very very well said Michael!

Why can't there be some tax RELIEF ... rather than 0% increases? Your family, my family and every other family on here has had to make lifestyle changes, curb or eliminate spending and cut back to make ends meet. Why isn't govt?
0% is great, dont get me wrong. A negative number is what we want.
I agree. I will be working hard to do exactly that, in fact. I'm starting with a realistic goal. First, stop the runaway train, then start backing it up. I spoke out at the budget hearings. I identified fat they refused to cut. 0% increase is not even an objective for the current administration. They are in fact, already in the process of creating a new tax district! That's plain nuts.
Michael didn't endorse 'no change'. Not the way I read it! 'No change' wouldn't get my vote anyway even if Micheal did....but he didn't!

I disagree. It's exactly that type of mindset that needs to change. That mindset enables "them" to pass tax increase upon tax increase because "it's the best we can do."
We need to start making the difficult choices. We need to demand lower taxes. There are enough candidates this year on the local level committed to delivering that. Vote for them.
Won't happen? Can't be done? I don't adhere to that philosophy. I heard that when I stood up to the Wal-Mart proposal. I heard that when I stood up for Masullo Estates. I hear it now on the tax front.
It can be done. It must be done. It will be done...as long as people have the courage to pull the lever for the candidates determined to get it done.
Quoted from GrahamBonnet: And to serve "No Change Bogod" as well perhaps.
Are you suggesting that O'Connor is conspiring with Godlewski to throw the election to him? It appears that those who are entrenched in partisan politics are feeling insecure and threatened by those who are challenging the establishment.
Go Michael! You have gotten the attention of your opponents who favor the status quo. That implies that they see you as a viable and credible candidate.

people have the needs and people need the taxes raised and this rich group of repubs wants to keep th emoney in the rich pockets instead of spreading it around so we need to get them out and spread the moeny around now for a change in Rotterdam. thank you for making the change people now is time to get Franny and the other members of the ticket into the town hall to stop the rich from trying this tax cut bullshit like bush did IT IS TIME TO PUT THE FUNDS INTO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT PEOPLE SO DO IT NOW AND GET RID OF EGO AND HIS BUNCH OF DUMMIES
GB ~ You crack me up! Taking shots at Michael is entertaining! The Parisi Republicans are in trouble and you know it. While you have to give credit to how Parisi raises money for the GOP, you can’t escape the pay to play perception it gives off. For crying out loud ~ how much does he make off the town? Btw, before you start the personal character assassinations by attacking Constantino, I would be a little careful ~ after all, the Republicans are too close to someone who shouldn’t throw stones and I am sure you know what I mean.
Like it or not, DelGallo is a problem for Steve AND with the entrance of a conservative to primary Steve on that line he is in even more trouble. Don’t be surprised to find an Ind. Primary coming as well. If the Republicans fail, it will be their own fault. The failure of Parisi/Mertz/Tommasone to work out their problems will most certainly hurt the party. Nothing for nothing, they all take some blame for the lack of leadership that will most certainly hurt their efforts.
Trying to bring in JS from the county to take out Mertz was classic case of the Republican infighting and the Republican voters will reject him as being part of the problem. Worse yet, he comes off looking like a cry baby ~ he’s running for town board because they wouldn’t let him lead the Pledge of Allegiance?? I can’t wait to hear you try and defend that guy, he’s in so deep with Tom and Jerry that he’ll be lucky to finish the race. Talk about leadership, that guy has no skills.
I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to see all of these guys OUT after Election Day! My money is on O’Connor as the only Republican we’ll see next year. All the other guys are going to eat each other up!

FIRST....'Sparky the cat' will not be a problem for anyone! REALLY! SECOND...They brought in JS cause they knew he was not electable at the county level. THIRD....My money is on O'Conner and Mertz and McGarry as reps on the town board. FORTH....All of the political party's problems, not just the reps, lay at the feet of their leaders! They are ALL beyond reproach! They are all a bunch of power driven, power grabbing idiots who clearly do not have the taxpayers best interest at hand. O'conner, mertz, mcgarry and littlefield clearly do!!!

...yeah, you are RIGHT! thay had that Tebano guy and no one called him out. oh, that's right, there was one guy who had nerve. You know, the shrinking violet who is "afraid" and is mad that he can't lead the pledge? That guy runs without the support of the special interests and even the conservative base on the forum is against him. A known quitter from what I can see. Backs down from everyone and takes orders from all...And a business failure too. Never won a race...Never worked hard...never took a stand...hates America, small animals, and even pushed his mother down the stairs in her wheelchair...I even heard he is Arabic if that other stuff doesn't fly, BG. Oh, wait, someone tried that too...
So what have you to claim as special accomplishments in life, BG?
chirp...
ribbet...
chirp...(cricket sounds)
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
GB ~ I assume you are defending Surhada? I wasn't aware that he pushed his mother down the stairs, shame on him. Explain to us why he would agree to run for the town board against the most conservative member the Republicans have? Not that it matters, as they will both lose in the end, but really?
