Perhaps when they (stratton/savage) stop implementing the 'cradle to grave' welfare programs, then MAYBE, just MAYBE, this entire county will turn around. With all of the non-profits and the HUGE welfare bill on our backs, one would think that the line waiting outside of the DSS building would be smaller. Instead it grows daily. People are flocking here from everywhere for the generous welfare handouts their friends and relatives tell them about. Sad but true folks!
They spend like this is a rich county with a flow of money that just doesn't quit. Sure the dems coupled with the cons are killin' us, but I don't see anyone else stepping up to the plate either.
And sorry....I don't give obama the credit here. He probably just gave the money we were suppose to get, to his Acorn friends or the crooks in Chicago. |
Son of Sam has blown it again. According to the TU, Schenectady will be receiving only $685,701 in CDBG funds. Stratton and all Krat City Council put together a wish list of over $30 MILLION in projects including the stuna "Technology Museum". So much for working together works. Even the clueless Obama administration saw through this padded list of projects.

Only 2.2% of the requested Federal money has been approved! What a complete facial from the Obama Administration to Mayor Stratton and his "planners". All idiotic plans including the Erie fiasco and "Tech Museum" should now be trashed.
