The FACT is that --  Neil Golub is NOT the sole decision maker for Golub Corporation ... and it is a private
corporation  ... so I really am not worried about who is building the fence for them.

A pilot is a tax exemption -- just like the exemptions you claim on your income tax.  Just as there is a
process to qualify for each of the various income tax exemptions .. there is a process to qualify for
the PILOT tax exemption.  

Personally, I think it is unfair that people get tax exemptions for having children.   Why should
people with no children pay more taxes to subsidize other peoples' children ?????????????????  
Why should married couples get extra tax breaks?     You can go down the line for each of these
tax breaks.

Best solution --- 1 flat rate for income tax ....  1 flat rate for property tax ... no exemptions for anyone.

as for the tax breakes the are rooted in religion!

and DVoR MM would push an admendment thru congress to give you and exemption to NOT to get married and have children if he could field canadates.

so .. at least you are agreeing with me that there are a lot of different tax breaks.

One could argue the merits of any one of these tax breaks.    Every tax break provides a benefit - to society
and to the tax payer receiving the exemption  - but every exemption must be paid for somewhere else by
someone else.

There needs to be laws on the books that require full disclosure of elected officials (even attorneys) from issues like this that arise. It would eliminate the questions and motives 'after the fact'.

There is a disclosure requirement under our local Ethics Law.

Golub is a PRIVATE corporation and it really isn't any of our business who they choose to do
business with.
