My cousin who lives in Schenectady (city) was driving down curry road today and saw our town trucks with guys cutting down 1 or 2 trees (he wasn't sure how many) on 'private property. He called me and wanted to know if this was a new service. Anyone know?

I was told by the Town Board that the town can't work on private property. That was told to us when we asked why the town couldn't place drain pipe or clear out drainage ditches on private property.

First of all how do you know it was private property......i do not believe they would be doing something illegal on curry road(busy road)

i know you did not say illegal .. i was just stating they would have to be stupid to do something that they are not suppose to be doing on a busy road like curry road
