BY KATHY RICKETTS Gazette Reporter
Reach Gazette reporter Kathy Ricketts at 395-3183 or kathyr@dailygazette.com.

    Douglas H. Dornan, a research scientist for the state Office of Mental Health, believes that every American deserves universal health care that covers both physical and mental health services.
    That’s why he organized a free forum for the citizens of Schenectady County to express their viewpoints and ideas about health care to a panel of experts who will listen and respond to questions.
    The forum will be held Tuesday from 6:45 to 9 p.m. at the Schenectady County Public Library, McChesney Room, 99 Clinton St.
    Panelists will include:
    Ashley Edwards, Capital District American Heart Association executive director;
    Harvey Rosenthal, New York association of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services executive director;
    The Rev. Dr. Edward Smart, Israel AME Church of Albany pastor;
    Dr. Andrew D. Coates, Physicians for a National Health Program, Capital District chapter co-chairman; and
    Also represented will be the American Cancer Society and the American Diabetes Association Capital District chapters.
