"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

SCHENECTADY
Man accused in Stockade fire
Overnight blaze displaces 8 residents

BY JESSICA HARDING Gazette Reporter

Christmas was not merry for eight residents of a Stockade apartment building forced out overnight Thursday by a fire that police said was intentionally set. No one was injured.
Police charged Roopnarine Pillai, 29, of 13 State St., Room 366, with felony second-degree arson in connection with the fire at 3:30 a.m. at 21 North Perry St. They also charged him with criminal contempt for violating an order of protection issued Monday by City Court Judge Guido A. Loyola.
Pillai is accused of lighting articles of clothing on fi re in a third-floor apartment bedroom at the North Perry Street apartments. Police said Pillai started the fire with a lighter after arguing with his girlfriend, who lived there.
The building's fire alarms alerted residents of the other apartments. Police said a patrol officer found Pillai near the apartment.
Firefighters broke the third floor windows to put the fire out, spraying glass and debris along the road and sidewalk in front of the building.
A resident of the apartment building, who declined to give his name, said he spent part of Christmas cleaning up the mess outside. β€œI live here, so I don't want to have to look at this stuff forever and be reminded of this,” he said. β€œIt's already going to be a Christmas I won't forget.”

Not just once, but multiple times this was mis-spelled in the Gazette.

More accuracy in reporting, eh?

Roop lived at 13 State Street aka {YMCA}. For many years Stockade residents have tried to get this closed down. It is destroying the neighborhood. Krats refuse to do anything about it. They moved Bethesda House but will not address this.
