Than why did James T and Tommy B and others so out and drop gigundous blobs of dough to the tune of 30 big ones to stop the local policemen from having the voice over here in Rotterdam? Was it so Johhny boy Mer_z could get a policemens commission up and running again which is the same as the Salem witch hunts? When the boys in blue put the lives on the line each day to protect and serve all we have to do is go around and prosecute them for being officers and try to take away their living and impose political rule on a non political para - military organization. What f Bill clinton or George Bush tried to put generals in there to run the war that were repubs or demos who helped them in the campaigns? this would make an uproar indeed. This is what some of these guys had in mind my sources told me this week. I am no fool and want good police with good morale in my community and these dummies went and made trouble which is bad bad bad. I forgive them but then they throw Ang under the bus and drag him in which upsets me when I am sure it was more others trying to cover the buts while they pulled the strings. I just think now they ought to respect the conservs and stop the mud slinging against the party. I want lower spending and taxes and good police, what do you want? The conservs know they want the same in our town over here and in my mind the whole affair is ended with victory for the officers and the supporters of law and order |

Hmmm. It was weird to see my name in this article. I ran as a committee person for the 14th district in the city of Schenectady, and lost.
I got 25% of the votes, 2 out of 8 total for my district.
But I didn't do any active campaigning, didn't distribute any literature or was informed by any other person as to what was going on.
Actually, I'm of the opinion that there was definite leaking going on, by whom I haven't a clue. Perhaps the anti-faction had a mole within the faction?
Interesting to say the least. Given a little bit of time and effort, I'm sure the mole can be exposed and/or exterminated. |

What do you call a 'gargantuan amount of money'. In the scope of political campaigning....this was a drop in the bucket. I think that everyone is making a mountain out of a mole hill. Especially the gazette. We are talking about a 'little bitty' political party of less than 3,000. Who the hell cares? Really now!!
This local conservative party has done absolutely NOTHING for schenectady county. In case anyone hasn't noticed....this county is OWNED AND RUN by the democratic dictatorship. So like I said...who the hell cares about this 'little bitty party'?
Seems to me that the Republican Party led by the Minority Leader felt that the itty bitty Conservative Party means something. At lease it meant tens of thousands from his coffers to hijack the party. |

No Pat, you will never figure out who the mole is. He or she is in too deep. |

Papa, it looks like you agree with my assessment. However, there is nothing in this world that can't be found out. No matter how deep the mole may have sunk, it can certainly be fished out and exterminated. |

Good luck Pat. I hope that determining who the supposed mole is allows you to capture more than 10% of the seats
Spend another 40 or 50 thousand next time and that might help too. |

So, I believe the hiring of Spargo to file thousands of pages of protest, etc, the 2,700 flyers multiplied by 6 (at a cost of over $20,000), the door hangers, the robo calls, all of the staff members of Jim Tedisco "taking their own time off", and assembling at Sherman's house on Monday, all of the door to door by Buchanan letting a young lady jump out of his car and run up to houses to drop literature off...............
Are these facts or assumptions? Are those the factual 'costs'? Could someone have been doing them (the mailings/printing free)within this faction? Also, it is rather scary that politics has gotten so nasty that houses are being watched. (Mr.Sherman). Very Scary!!! |

Only a key operative of the party would know these facts. |

Maybe that's why the "faction" lost? If you're running, why wouldn't you go out and campaign and help get the word out? |

Houses are being watched. Yea, that is what it was- 24 hr surveillance on Sherman's house. Give me a break. As for someone printing professionally made political literature for free and I guess maybe the federal government waiving the thousands of dollars in postage.... The chances of that are about as remote as Tedisco trusting Kelly Rhinesmith to continue being his advisor. But maybe the Board of Elections will buy that when it comes time to submit your financials. |

Yes, only a key operative could read the Gazette or this blog and know that there are 2700 Conservatives and only a key operative would know enough to multiply that number by the number of mailings he or she received.... 15000 flyers multiplied by the about .40 for postage is 6K in postage alone. Even if the literature they put out was only 1.00 each- it's another 15K. Dont forget Spargo. I dont think he does too much of this stuff pro bono. |

Hardly. And the word got out to party members via snaill mail. This was not a general election, it was a primary. |

Yea, it was just a primary election that Conservatives had nothing more to vote for than committee seats. They got out a fairly large % of their people considering that they had nothing more to vote for than a committee seat. |

Pat Z-
The mole told me that the Rhinesmith crew is lying in the weeds quietly waiting for current leadership to make a mistake with proxies.... Is he /she right? |
