1 hurt in I-890 crash

ROTTERDAM - One person was hospitalized after a car rolled off Interstate 890 Thursday night, State Police said.

     
The crash occurred just north of Exit 25A in the westbound lanes of the highway shortly before 8:30 p.m., troopers said. Motorists calling 911 reported the car had rolled off the highway into a wooded area, and had caught fire. Firefighters responded, but no flames were found.
The driver was conscious at the scene of the accident and taken to Ellis Hospital with unknown injuries, troopers said. They did not appear to be life threatening.
The crash remains under investigation.

Well, it's nice to see that the Gazette isn't the only paper that doesn't know how to report the truth.  Tell me, where did this actually happen?

Just north of Exit 25A of the Thruway would be Mariaville Road...or Putnam Road.  I-890 doesn't come near exit 25A, it links exit 25 and exit 26.
