Senator’s mailing little more than a free ad

A few days ago I received a campaign brochure in the mail from Sen. Hugh Farley. Sending a campaign brochure is no crime, but paying for it out of our taxes is. There is no pretense that this is a report to voters on legislation. It’s all about Mr. Farley. And it says “paid New York Senate.” It’s an example of the use of public resources (I would guess at least $100,000 worth for this mailing) to stay in offi ce. The New York Senate is against public finance of campaigns — unless, of course, it’s [to] keep current senators in office.

Nah, it's to 'wash' money......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
