Can someone help me understand this one thing.....I and my significant other have purchased our home and cars and other items based on our base pay(and only one income at that, just in case).....occaisionally I will pick up overtime to help out at work,,,,this time however, I picked up time thinking it would help with the grocery bill and gas etc......we are not that financially savvy but, we like to have a cushion for the 'extras'...anyhow here is an example of why I am p@#$@# off.....
hypothetically $10.00/hour for easy math 40hours/week=$400.00 overtime=$15.00/hour x 10hours=$150.00 $400.00+$150.00 = $550.00
now here's the issue---when making $400.00 $150.00 goes for taxes.....when making $550.00,,$250.00 goes for taxes only to equal the original $400.00 gross.........
where are these charts/scales/brackets that this crap is figured out on?????
someone give me something sharp to stick in my eye.......or...better yet lets kill the elephant in the room........
THERE ARE NO PREVAILING WAGES-----JUST THE PREVAILING TAXES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THERE IS NO STRAW FOR THE BRICKS...........DONT TREAD ON ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
