Proctors, CDTA announce partnership Arts patrons encouraged with discounts to take bus Last updated: 3:05 p.m., Thursday, January 31, 2008
SCHENECTADY -- Proctors and the Capital District Transportation Authority are teaming up to encourage more arts patrons to take the bus. Officials from both organizations announced today that CDTA customers with monthly Swiper passes will be eligible for 10 percent discounts on some Proctors shows. Also, Proctors patrons can receive a free CDTA day pass with purchase of show tickets. Proctors in downtown Schenectady also has become a CDTA sales outlet, selling Swiper cards and 10-trip and three-day passes at the box office during normal operating hours. "Proctors Theatre draws people from all over the region and beyond to attend shows and participate in a myriad of activities," said Proctors CEO Phillip Morris. "Given CDTA's connections throughout the region, this arrangement makes sense for all involved."
