Schenectady to close street next week

SCHENECTADY -- Franklin Street between Jay Street and Broadway will be closed to westbound traffic for two days next week for installation of a gas service, city officials said.
The Dekatherm, Inc. project will start on Jan. 30 and is expected to last two days. Officials said traffic will be allowed to enter the intersection of Franklin Street from Broadway with the assistance of traffic directors.
