Hey Sal, perhaps someday this message board(free speech) will be shut down. You won't have an arena to spew your nonsense. And just guess who or what party will be responsible for shutting it down? NOT THE REPS/CONSERVS!!! So guess again?

there is no re - building what dont you stunods understand over there. If the government allows this outlaw group of traitors to keep it up {which it should not } then you people will never be a majority the way you have all acted with the hate and the outlaw stuff going against the police, the troops, god and the country. I think the days where you can come here and speaw the hatred out on the little people and that are coming to the close. That Bush ruined the country and there needs to be some kind of police law to strraighten the ecnomy out now and it wont be to easy after all over here. These things here like the blog are very unfair with no balance and if the repubs keep it up lawsuits and arrests will need to happen to keep the country from sliding down the tubes altogether. What dont you all get about how we are in danger from the repubs and the treaitors they are?

Try to come here and arrest ME. I am sure the Gazette and it's faux "jounos" will provide the "evidence" for the trial. Go to hell, Gazette and your bosses in power.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

woah -- everyone take a step back, breath in slowly, now let it out -- good. feel better? Ok, let's try and get our logic caps back on in place come back to the place where things make sense once again.

wow - all this over a post about copyright.

I suppose everyone was ok with copyright when the Business Review demanded blanchfield stop using its material for this anti-amedore commercial.... sure, then it was an important principle because then you understood it better. of course, you understood it through your own prism of facts, but, hey, you understood it.

Did he stop? Did Blanchefield the faker stop? Noooooooo...like every other leftist he shoots you a giant middle finger (that is when they can't burn buildings, bomb innocent  people, murder police, wage violent demonstrations, arrest and imprison millions for disagreeing, and sink ships in a harbor to create pandemonium to further their one be-all end-all cuase: to gain POWER over everything.)

NPR, you must of been his campaign manager. Another sick and twisted leftist who will stop at nothing, distort any conversation, lie all day, sell your mother, and cause any amount of dissension in a community to get CONTROL over each and every facet of the community, the state, the nation and then the world. You got picked on for being short when you were a child so now you need to CONTROL ALL.

Let's get back to saving democracy. Nobody cares about what some green pea editor said. She is whistling past the graveyard. She knows as much about copyright law as being an editor.

The People's Gazette is in free fall losing not only readership but advertisers. 4 Page sections with pre-canned wire stories. Let Sal and NPR, go on promoting that rag. With friends like these....At the coffee shop they were discussing Brad and Bumble's latest posts not some rantings from a liberal rag.

How does the GOP, locally speaking, expect to rebuild? With who? Our local GOP must be reminded, that there will not be any new blood in the near or distant  future wishing to run for a political 'anything'. These 30 and 40 somethings, have been witness to a party with no support or leadership.

The local GOP has gone on long enough blaming the dems for the their demise. That excuse can be used for just so long. It gets old! First and foremost, the leadership needs to be changed. They need to regain their conservative ideology. They need to devise a strategy. In other words, they have to get out there and WORK! Start going door to door. GET OUT AND TALK WITH 'THE PEOPLE'!

And none of this can by accomplished by having monthly meetings at the local bar/restaurant. Really.

All the GOP has to do is go back to their conservative base and stop trying to be Democrats.

Bush didn't ruin this country----a whole generation did.......and they were all smoking pot, free love/sex, hippy to yuppy etc....................
the only thing that the generation has now reaped is Mr.Obama.......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

South Carolina GOP chair seeks support as party looks to rebuild Republican National Committee
By JIM DAVENPORT
Associated Press Writer
2:15 AM EST, November 9, 2008

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) _ South Carolina GOP chairman Katon Dawson has for months quietly been courting support among the Republican National Committee's members, who now are in the market for new leadership, GOP officials say.

The South Carolina auto parts salesman has a knack for raising Republican Party money. But Dawson is not alone in his bid for the RNC post. Republican leaders in different states say a growing number of hopefuls have been making calls and sending out feelers to be the leader to replace current chairman Mike Duncan, even though Duncan is said to want a new, two-year term.

Energy, a track record and the ability to raise money seem to be qualities high on many Republican officials' lists. They'll make the decision in January, when national committee members from every state and territory take a vote.

"I want to see nerves of steel," said North Carolina GOP chairwoman Linda Daves.

Dawson, 52, isn't trying to squelch the chatter about his ambitions.

"We're not at the point we're ready to make a formal announcement," Dawson said Friday. "I am certainly encouraged by the conversations I've had."

Next weekend, Dawson plans to bring RNC members from around the country to Myrtle Beach to hash over what went right and what went wrong on Election Day. Besides losing the White House, the party lost more seats in the U.S. House and Senate and gave up control of more state legislatures than it gained.

Not so for Dawson's South Carolina, where John McCain won. Here, the GOP has outsized majorities in the state legislature, holds eight of nine statewide offices, both U.S. Senate seats and four of six U.S. House seats.

That's it? That is to be the ONLY qualifications the GOP is looking for? A Girlscout could fill the bill if that is the case. They are clearly energetic and can certainly raise money! geezzzzzeeee!!!

As I'm not a registered member of the Republican Party, I won't offer my thoughts regarding the change that is needed but only wish you Godspeed. It will be good to have a multi party system of government in the future.

I have spoken with several Republicans who reside in Schenectady County District 4 who have interest in running for political office.  Many are new names.  I won't identify them in this forum as it is their choice to do so if and when they decide to advance their candidacies.  I can't speak to the other districts in the county, particularly in the City of Schenectady.

First on the National GOP the Mr Dawson of SC sounds great. Yes, ability to raise money is vital. He also knows how to win and keep winning. When you have Obama raising 4X more than us there is a major problem. Changes are also needed at the State and County Level.

The City GOP has not met one time this year. The Nisky GOP which 2 years ago had 50 at a monthly meeting is lucky to draw flies now. Excellent fiscally Conservative GOP candidates in the City, Glenville and Nisky have been ignored and passed over by the current cabal. In the last County elections 3 of 4 Democrats Legislators in the City ran unopposed. This is horrible and will not be allowed to happen again. There is no shortage of financial backers nor candidates once new leadership is named. Until then look for more disintegration.

I can't beleive any body would even want to vote for a repub over here other then a couple I think are pretty good, mostly they are all wrong and just want to take from the middle class and give itr to the richest. Also this group of repubs will find that the idea of hate will be soon against the law that they are putting out against people like minorities and the union people and that so forget the so called comeback, OK?
