Here is the problem:
No communication from the town board.
Everyone can't make the meetings.
Not everything can be talked about at the meetings.
They need to update the residents weekly.
This would stop gossip and untruths.
Can't depend on the newspaper.
People are frustrated.
They can use their website at no additional charge.
They can use this forum at no charge.
Rotterdam needs better communication from the town board.

I agree, PI, but at the same time, I have been able to get some replies as of late.  You might have to go to a town board meeting or 2 to let them know who you are, but I have great success getting replies on many things lately.

You will get replies depending on the questions that you ask, hot questions may not get a reply.

At least not immediately.  And yes, it will make a difference if you don't go in fighting, just asking simple questions, looking for simple answers.  It's tough to do sometimes, but that's what you have to do.

OK, let's go with your analogy.  They can't start the bob and weave if you never throw a punch.  They need to see what's coming their way and be able to respond to it one way or another.

If you don't get an answer to your jab, then go for another one or go for the hook and knock them out!

Seems there's going to be something interesting.  Come on Wednesday and give yourself a voice.  And if you can't get an answer from them, let me know.  I'll see what I can do.  

And sometimes, it takes more than 1 person to bring up a point for government to get their wheels moving.

Got the 'commuication' in the mail tody from the town. Very nice. Looks like we will be receiving them about every 3 months. I like it!

I was wondering when a new one of those would be coming out.  If anybody didn't receive it, it should be on-line soon, but it's not there right now.

They only held one meeting on Jan. 13...this was they had something to play on Channel 16.  
That's probably it for this year!
