Maybe the league (aka Copservative Party) can find a way to blame the Republican Party (not club, which was controlled by the Dagostino family) for THIS. I am sure in their minds they can find a way with their famous reasoning capabilities.
They most certainly can blame the reps. Judy Dago WAS a registered rep when this whole mess unfolded. So sure they can blame the reps. Judy Dago gets a pass though since she is a convert! Don't know how the woman looks herself in the mirror everyday! |

Apparently the democraps have a gun to Larned's head on this one. I also heard that they want to shake down the outfit that FDG brought in to fill Fuez Mfg's old building before they extend the sewer line to them |

ROTTERDAM Development to affect Little League BY JUSTIN MASON Gazette Reporter
The Rotterdam Little League will lose two fields during the upcoming season as work gets under way on a 24-building apartment complex in the coming weeks. Little League officials were alerted of the change about a week ago, when developer Timothy Larned indicated grading for the project would impinge on half the fi elds located on the former Rotterdam Republican Club property near North Thompson Road. The town’s Public Works Department issued a demolition permit Tuesday, allowing contractors to begin dismantling the dilapidated club building, which is located near two fi elds. The Little League could also face issues with its concession stand. Though the structure itself won’t be impacted, the initial site work could cut power to the building. The league had initially hoped it could continue using all four fi elds this spring and had intended to invest roughly $10,000 into repairs. Now, it will have to find other alternatives, considering Larned hasn’t yet closed on a deal to sell land designated for a new ball fi eld complex to Schenectady County. Once the county owns the land, the Little League will build and have use of four fi elds there. Larned agreed to sell nine acres of property he owns behind the town’s sewage treatment plant on West Campbell Road to the county for new fields so that he could build on 78 acres of the former club. But negotiations over a sewer line proposal stalled the town’s issuance of a building permit for the apartment project, which is a contingency for the sale of the property to the Little League. Donald Zee, an attorney representing Larned, was hopeful the deal will be completed by the end of the month. But even with the land deal completed, the Little League won’t have enough time to complete the new fields before the spring season begins. ............................>>>>..........................>>>>.....................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r01200&AppName=1

Tommy -- GFY! Anyone who can cast aspersions and tell lies about the wonderful children who participate in one of the greatest of all past-times can ROT IN HELL.. I happen to believe that our very own Rotterdam Little League is comprised of not only some of the finest and delightful children but ALSO of some of the most dedicated and caring ADULTS who participate, care for and SUPERVISE these future leaders.... The hateful nayboobs can go screw a gazelle. |
