Virginia L. Kusek, of Guilderland Avenue, in Rotterdam, passed over peacefully on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. The daughter of the late Charles L. and Cecilia Grzybowski Kusek, she was born in Hamtramck, MI. She graduated from St. Adalbert Parish School in Schenectady and Draper High School in Rotterdam. Upon graduation from high school, she went to work at the H.S. Barney’s department store in Schenectady where she managed the home decorating department. For over 40 years, Ginny was employed by the General Electric Company where she worked as an administrative professional and supervisor in various offices at the main plant in Schenectady.
