Route 7 closed in Rotterdam following Water Main break

ROTTERDAM-Rotterdam Police tell us a water main break near the 5 corners intersection has shut down a part of Route 7.

Police say the Rotterdam Water Department is assessing the scene and repairs will begin as soon as possible.

Water service may be interrupted for area homes and businesses as crews isolate the broken water main.

Service interruption in those areas may last well into the morning, according to authorities.

Route 7 (Duanesburg Rd.) is currently shut down from the 5 corners intersection to Phillips St.

Traffic going in that direction should follow the posted details.
